yep, figthing is part of most asian peoples tradition, but one thing the japs did dam stupid were banzi attacks. The run with bayonets against the marines, in masses witout shooting, just the goal to stick the bayonet into the enemy. So the Marines With M1A1, Garand, BAR, thompson could just take em out easy. The only situation banzai attack are dangrous is at nigth.

Any young dumb requit knows that you don't fire off a burst of more than 3 rounds with an automatic rifle.His Thompson's nice but he's not carrying any more ammo than a boy scout would need to shoot beavers.If he had a number 2 man besides the radio man just pulling his ammo maybe, but each burst by him is 9 bullets long and he'll only hit one target with that.
