I've recently done a news story about FedEx. They took a package from my now dead aunt, and, destroyed 3 items in the box and lost the rest. They tried to brush me off with $100.00! My aunt sent these things to me, from her death bed. She wanted me to have these items and FedEx destroyed and lost them all. They never contacted me to ask if I wanted the broken items. They are the worst ship company. This video doesn't surprise me!
mylife, it is fedex's fault; the driver is w/ fedex express (an hourly paid employee) that should have caught the damaged package & returned it to the terminal for inspection
He/she should have scanned the package, put a code 10= needs to be inspected/file claimed for shipper's fault of not PROPERLY placing the mug in bubble wrap/box instead
dont blame fedex they dont know what is in the pkgs that are being shipped out, come on why would the shipper put a breakable in a pak with no protection no claim here on fed ex

PS: i was w/ Home Delivery, totally different branch... they don't get paid by the hour; sorta sux
each terminal has its good/bad employees like any other
If I caught that while loading my truck for the delivery day, it would NEVER have left the building!
