Many people used Dry Bones with the Dry Bomber, a kart whose mini-turbo was camparable to that of a mushroom boost. Now, imagine that a player you are against online has an infinite golden mushroom. How would that feel?

@XoJoseph Snaking is when you drift to one side until you get a boost and then drift to the other side and get another boost. People would do this to get more speed.

@XoJoseph In Mario Kart DS, there was a drift move that gives you a slight boost. People often abused that move to win the race, and it made playing online suck. Playing online was literally a snaking competition, not a fun game of Mario Kart. TheLegendaryDreamer2's comment sums it up perfectly.
