7.5 cents is probably more than the paper in a one-dollar bill is worth, so shouldn't I replace all my paper one-dollar bills with presidential one-dollar coins, if I am going to worry about the composition of these monies?
And at the end they were comparing this cheap 7 1/2 cent coin to the rare gold coins of our country dating back to the 1700 & 1800s, saying "You better buy these while they are only $1, before the price soars like these rare gold ones". You are right.....if they minted them out of silver or gold, we would have something. Keep stackin 1 oz Silver Eagles.
How are they worthless? They're still worth a dollar. A new penny has $0.005 worth of material in it. What's your point?

@vanhouten64 A Us bill is actually 75%cloth 25% paper but anyway. It cost the us treasury exactly 1.1 cents to make a $100 note.
