Metallica's first project of music was a demo tape called no life till leather. The line up was Hetfield, Ulric, Mustaine, and bassist Ron McGvney. Kirk joined the band in 82ish when the majority of Kill em All was already written by Hetfield, Ulric, and Mustaine. I dont care if your 14 or not, the inception of this band was before both our times.
