my problem is mechanical, there needs to be one hell of a motor in that thing and the fan blades that lift it need to be like 2 if not 3 times larger to pull and push enough air downwards to achieve the desired lifts...each of which not displayed in this video and the size of the vehicle compared to the rotaries wouldn't have enough room in it to hold these two NEEDED items

This would never be certified by the FAA. High disk loading = high fuel consumption. An FAA certified powerplant would never pass EPA requirements for a street vehicle. Maybe it can do lateral moves, but where does it's roll stability/control come from? This thing is pure fantasy.

Nice design but have they built a prototype to see if it works? I foresee power/weight ratio, noise, stability & navigation issues. The latter 2 issues could possibly be overcome with computers but I doubt that you'd get a power plant powerful yet light enough to achieve VTOL & hover while carrying 2 people. You need aerodynamic lift to make that viable with any tech likely to emerge soon. Even then, cost would probably be prohibitive.

I have seen a similar construct in the 70s in a german popular mechanics type of publication called "hobby". It was already flying then (prototype) only to be shelved forever.
I think the PTB dont want us being so independent of roads and such.

This car is a life saver, not a killer. Can rescue people on building fire and other catastrophes. Fireman and police should have some of this unique machines. Its like an helicopter - must be driven by licenced pilots.
Imagine one of this saving lives on 9-11, probably many would like to see flying suicides... so people that opposes progress are nothing but (the usual) black sheep...

100% electric with a very clear gauge on when to land the damn thing for a recharge...and efficent use of the energy so your not landing every 10 minutes to repower
hydrogen fuel cells would of course be the best bet.
