  • The company Driver Solutions helps u by matching u with a company then they front youre tuition.

  • i wish i was old an of to drive

  • I wish I could drive a truck. To much money for school and nobody to lend a truck for testing. Good for those who can

  • nice backing

  • This wus a very good vid,and educational to and for the ppl getting into the trucker life style like me,lol

  • I been driving 28 years and I still get out and look. Not a thing wrong with it.If you arent sure where your trailer is be smart,go look.In the dark, poorly lit lot its best to get out and look anyway.I am an owner operator

since insurance is so high yes I will et out and look so I dont hit another truck.

  • What's so great about that. That's an everyday deal. Nothing special.

  • @dennisryan2010 You must not drive for a living.

  • at first i thought this was a joke but then he backed in like a pro lol

  • Awesome dude. Awesome.

  • most accidents happen in truck stops. there dark, tight, people are staring at you, youre tired hungry have to take shit maybe have a pounding heachache. im glad im local and the only time i pull into a truck stop is to buy a overprice soft drink and hamburger.

  • man no matter how good you think you are just get out and look its not worth hitting something i get out everytime and i have been driving for too long

  • I'am not a trucker but Im always amazed at their driving. A lot of respect for you guys. I do a lot of driving (regular car) everyday and I dont know how they do it but my temper limit would be over the limit at the way other drivers get in front of them and trying to compete w/ the truck.

  • try that on a split axle trailer. they are much harder since the response is less predictable and not as precise. I been pulling a split axle for 8 years now and still can't get it right on the money all the time, but regular axle trailer is a piece of cake to me.

  • you could have gotten your ass out and spouted the man....shame on you

  • The guys backing in drivers side for gods sake, should have got it in. in one....

  • bravo to the driver. I would have gotten out and looked, but that's just me. Great backing job

  • 10/10. An awesome job backing up at the truck stop..!!!

  • dang imma be a trucker soon, i bet this takes ALOT of practice to get this right.

  • @8747800 My thinking exactly. I should hopefully be on the road with a trainer by early march. I'm gonna be that guy pissing everyone off by getting out and looking... but life's tough sometimes. lol

  • @cskillet2003 yup! its gonna be challenging for rookie truckers or maybe all truckers! i bet once you'll get used to it youll get the hang of it!

  • @8747800 I can't see backing being easy... but I'm sure it gets easier with time. just gotta go slow and don't get pressured to rush. Definitely excited to start though!

  • @cskillet2003 me too bro! good luck!

  • @8747800 Thanks man.. you too!

  • @cskillet2003 I've been driving 13 yrs. - I always get out and look every time and without fail.

  • @mmcilwain12347 I'm sure I'll be doing the same. It's such a small price to pay for knowing you're not going to hit.

  • this is part of the job. Nothing special.

  • @lisaKDL amen!!

  • Reminds me of my dad. My dad is a damn good driver!! Truckers rule!!!

  • American lorries are beautiful just like maxican bull. british lorries suck casue they are ugly as fuck like euorpian bulls.

  • the driver of the that tractor trailer did a great job

  • Wow that was excellent.

  • Speechless!!!

  • hey all you so called truckers. give the rookies a break. i have been driving for 28 years. driving everything out there and can back anything. but i haven't forgot i was a rookie at one time. so give them a break. you guys give truckers a bad name.

  • @cr480rider Ok, so i got 4 years more on ya, and all i do is heavy haul. I would like to see you back my 3+3+3 up. Only 110 feet long when jeep and stinger put together. I do agree with you on the give the rookie a break, because we all had to learn one way or another. No truck driving school for me,I learned in the military back in 1974 on a 10 ton tractor with a 6x4 transmission. No fun with out power steering and putting your arm through steering wheel to shift. Be safe out there.

  • @cr480rider Hey buddy! I love ur comment! I drive a full sleeper on my tractor, makes it 100 times harder to steer and back up, i got alot of shit over the CB for no reason, i say im a rookie and i get crap for that, but ur a great and wise hauler :)

  • @cr480rider well put

  • We have some 57' foot vans with roller floors out here in CA.........They use a cabover to pull them................

  • I reckon if some lazy arsed trucker got off his fat arse and waved that poor driver into his spot whether hes experienced or not would be about as courtious as ya can get, I drove trucks in the USA and although there is wonderful courtesy on the roads there is nobody in a truck stop that wants to help ya back in and doin on the cb aint the one ya better to get out there and do the hand signal thing

  • Chuck Norris does this 10 times faster :)

  • Yep, he did a fine job. Nice and smooth.

  • are you at a truck stop? and how long is the trailer?

  • @xXSkinnyMeXx

    Looks like a 48' or a 53'. My guess is 53'

  • @colonelkobiashvili is 53' the longest trailer?

  • @xXSkinnyMeXx To my understanding, 53' is the longest van/reefer trailer available. There are some lengths that will exceed it, such as triples, or the over sized load trailers.

  • @colonelkobiashvili ohh that's cool

  • @xXSkinnyMeXx At one time you could run 57' trailers in some of the southern states. I'm sure if they're still around or not.

  • @kiatruck really? damn I wanna graduate from high school now and drive big rigs like this

  • a true professional

  • congratulations you know how to fit into a square box...

  • average or below

  • he did good me personally i would have stayed closer to the side i was backing into for my setup but eh to each his own we all have differnet ways of doing it right?

  • all that matter is that hi did it without hiting anybody's truck. MFS

  • On a scale of 1 to 10 this was a 2.7 with 10 being the best! Besttruckerlalive .....com

  • I don't see how this could be a great backing job with a pull up! Steering wheel holders applauding steering wheel holders... on to the next one!

  • good job,,, but if u work at downtown LA with 48 sleeper cab and 53 trailer , u ll know wsup

  • that is allot of trucks

  • ashore instead of taking this video you could help him

  • @monoparadise1 truckers use cb...so if it gets tooo toght we can tell each other....

  • Masterful job.

  • Yeah.. He didn't hit anything. Big deal.

  • I love those american trucks, awesome!

  • all these pieces of shit on here bad mouthing truckers needa get behind the wheel ive taken 3 defensive driving classes ( not due to tickets or breaking the law ) 6 class sessions an 4 OJT courses in prescion driving i think ima badass driver but i cant back one of these up to save my life GOOD JOB idc what anybody says that takes skill

  • Great backing job! We'd like to think we have the best customers/drivers! Come see us again soon.

  • that is worth while putting on youtube?, he had to pull up 3 times!!!!

  • so what does he get a cookie? what you gotta do to be a truck driver anyway? learn ABC's? how to sit? how to breathe?

  • @Bahzad23 Yea, some times patience is a virtue. Then again my preferred crayon for coloring in my log book is crayola and not rose art! :)

  • @Primal67060 I have absolutely no fuckin idea what that means, like literally, not even a clue. You went from patience to "virte?" to crayons to corona

  • @Bahzad23 Guess your not a truck driver other wise you would have understood what that meant. It was jokingly in conjunction to your comment.

  • @Primal67060 no yea im a trucker alright partna, i tell ya what i was in a dog on Kenworth T-600 back in my days and i had to do a full Flip-flop down on interstate 85 with 2 ton pack of meat swat in the back, now i couldn't even back out caulse of that rooster cruiser had a 10-42 down at the strip of the interstate i tell ya what boy

  • once you get started backing up..shut your 4 ways off..they are confusing..trailer lights are all u need...and drivers, when some one is backing up in front of u..shut your dam headlights off..have SOME respect..

  • WOW

  • nice and great truck service! god bles you guys . hi there :)

  • How would somebody say that's a bad job? that was freaking good!

  • good job,my friend!peace!

  • Looked like a fine job to me!

  • i wish diesel was still that cheap

  • Anyone else notice the jackwagon in the yellow freightliner that didn't turn off his lights for the man trying to hit the hole? Where have all the manners gone?

  • @GreenSkyy87 driving LTL fro the last 18ys. I do more backing than i go than driving. iv been there late at night tryiong to find a spot to park at truckstop.

  • @GreenSkyy87 ....yeah i saw that. back when i was otr i hated it when drivers did that and i was trying to back in . some drivers just have no consideration for nighttime backing.

  • @GreenSkyy87 There are no manners anymore. Here in Europe the last drops of common sense vanished with the so called automatic headlights. When I point out to people that they should turn off their headlights while at the dock I only receive a blank stare. Can't see a damn thing when backing up to the next one especially when it rains.

  • @GreenSkyy87 Colonial Freight, that about sums it up.

  • i think he did a great job

  • headlamps dim pre backing - a very good suggestion to a newbie. I also turn off 4ways after setting up when dark. Can see better

  • Shit ic driven tricks for 36 years and idk if I can do that

  • Steer toward your trouble.

  • Nice job!!

  • only a rookie is what???? i never get out and look but its not because i am too cool its because i know where my truck is and i know where things are...im very careful and have over 25 yrs without a single incident... i am a bedbugger and im off the beaten path constantly and in peoples driveways with a 53... keep your get out and look if you like but id rather just use caution and skill...oh by the way...nice job backing this one in driver.....

  • Thats trucker was a good backupper

  • This Was Me

  • if you are good at baking with a trailer so should you not drive forward and backward so much

  • My dad can do that no problem and he is going to teach me how to do it too i cant wait

  • I've only gone in 25 meter long trucks, and they say that these 12 meters? Are for rookies who doesn't have experience in trucking.

  • @Sepiwirl much harder to back a shorty.. for me anyway..

  • Brilliant Job

  • yeah i can do that too faggot

  • Wish diesel was still that price.

  • Who is driving this truck?

  • I drove truck all over the US for 10yrs, parked in every Truck stop there is im sure, in that time i was lucky enough to have never touched another truck.

i was able to walk away without ever scratching the trucks i drove.

Not to say i was never hit though, i have been hit 4 times, truck disabled once.

all 4 times safety found me "not at fault".

i was a driver trainer for 5 of those years, no trainee acquired any violations in there first year out of the trainer truck.

  • @opossom1968 don't hurt your arm patting yourself on the back

  • bet he wouldnt have parked there if he knew who was beside him ROLF!!!!

  • wow would be a real pro driver with no pullups. there was alot of room looks like to me.

  • awful quick to point out flaws.

Maybe someone should follow you around for a week and point out all your fuckups

  • A proffessional driver pre plans all trips including stops and insures one will not have to back up other than to unload. This guy can manouver a big rig yet forgot to sound horn on each backing attempt as well as setting his parking brake as mentioned. He should have got out of truck and checked clearance between vehicles several times without a spotter when backing up. 70% of all trucking accidents occur while backing up when the driver "THINKS" the path is clear.

  • @thebassman5 Let me tell you a little bit about "real world trucking." If you're in a truckstop at night, there is a very good chance that other drivers are sleeping, and if some newbie out of school comes in blasting the horn every time they start to proceed backward, his/her career could end rather quickly due to death, because many of the drivers are trying to rest and don't want to hear honking all night long. It's called "common coutesy" Learn it before you decide to drive a truck.

  • I have a great solution to truckstop parking.

All you fairweather drivers that get to the truckstops at 2-3-4pm for the night..You guys park in the back......Let the guys that are still working that get to the truckstop at 7-8-9pm have the front spots. Its only fair that way. If I owned a truckstop...Thats how Id park everyone.

  • is men is goooodddd driver

  • @RandomConcepts If you mean idling the engine and noise from that. It's kind of like people who let their televisions run while they sleep. If there's fumes getting in the cab that would be an exhaust leak and would be an out of service violation that must be repaired before the truck can legally be moved under it's own power.

  • any professional driver should be able to back that in on the drivers side, come down under & see how we do it in 26 metre b doubles & roadtrains

  • i could never do that

  • good good driver

  • Only a ROOKIE is ashamed to Get Out And Look !!!!!!!

  • @bigfatkid49 sure, but when i get my air endorsment, i will, cuzz im sure i will be nervous the first few times cuzz i wont instantly be transformed into a 35 year trucking veteran. so yea, being a rookie sucks, but you have to start somewhere

  • @bigfatkid49 Only a lazy piece of shit sits in his truck watching & video taping instead of getting out & helping the guy back in

  • yes, well done...but this is daily practice for us in overcrowded europe. less space in our truckstops...

  • They should show this in the truck driving schools!

See kids; this is how it is done!

  • Nicely done, I'd say! I think we all have our 'good days' and 'bad days' out here. I have blindsided my Pro Star in one shot, but have take multiple tries, and needed a helper to sight see it in when I was tired. Sometimes, we have TOO much room, and it will take a few tries more than usual to get it in the dock. Go figure! lol! And for me, it's a LOT harder at night.

  • the other trucks are like finally mother fuckerout of the way bitch

  • hows that a great job, look at all the other trucks that got in there spot

  • sweet, pis poor lot planing though.

  • NICE job! What a pro!

  • He missed that truck by a couple inchs still good joband hey i bet that driver was ages 40 and up....

  • he aint too awesome he forgot the parking brake

  • @stack4321 He most likely did forget but some guys back in against a curb and purposely not set them. Some of the bigger companies have a timer that will shut off the truck after so many minutes. Not setting the parking brake stopped this, the truck thought it wasnt parked and you could idle for how ever long. I had to deal with this crap for 2 years on my old kenworth before i have the computer re flashed

  • Fuck how Awesome Those Trucks are!!

  • I'm still off on my backing! i need more practice. Any tips from you guys? Great backing by the way

  • I may only drive tour bus, but I have respect for truckers and how they back their rigs up. Especially this driver, i have seen others backing but this driver here did it with ease and didn't hit a thing! backing a 45' bus up is nothing compaired to backing a 53' trailer w/backward steering to turn the trailer in the right direction. Keep up the great driving, and see ya out on the road!

  • Why is there so much shit talking about how good a driver is, we all started and the same place, we was all a newbie driver at one time....it use to be a day when when someone had trouble backing they would set their brakes and go out and help the newbie learn something. You should respect all drivers, and if you have 50 years in the truck, do a good deed and help someone that has none, your truck driving skills are nothing in the grave.

  • @xscagx that is sure is the true

  • All i can say is this driver didnt hit anybodys rig , they backed with descent speed and never once did you see the cab shake from the driver being too anxious . GOOD JOB in my book . To the other disrespectful comments : its people like you as to why we have animosity on the highway with your super trucker slang bs . grow up and show a fellow trucker some gratitude for Gods sake !!! Im sure ill get some Kindergarten response but that is expected from such ill-mannered and disrespectful people

  • @JDHOPKINS78 I agree. He did a great job. Alot of people have that "I CAN DO BETTER, ROOKIE." Hmm, where are their videos? For the LTL drivers, this isn't LTL, they don't have 30 times a day, maybe 1-3 times at most, unless they pull in and out of truck stop. If you did LTL long enough yeh you would have skills.Too many whiners.

  • @JDHOPKINS78 VERY WELL SAID!

  • @JDHOPKINS78 too right with out trucks the world gets fuck all I'm in full support

  • @JDHOPKINS78 Man you couldn't be more RIGHT!!

  • @JDHOPKINS78 All the trucks I have driven so far have been freightliners but only one I had that didn't shake when the wheels were cut hard. Of course that was the only truck that the stop blocks had been removed. Even when completely calm with no "worry" or anxious feeling they still did it when the wheel was cut past a certain point and feathering the clutch.

  • @JDHOPKINS78 i am a class 1 HGV driver in England i dont think people understand that there is an art to reverseing a truck , its not just the reverseing its being aware of whats going on around you at all times ! well done driver !

  • Yeah that takes practice. He did pretty good. But it will rip you to pieces on your first time.

  • how much endorsements you can get, i have 3

    1.hazmat

    2.Tanker

    3.Doubles and Tripples

I wonder if theres more. Im From Louisiana

  • @DexDizzy there is 2 more passenger and school bus

  • wow

  • thats easy man...i can do it in my try....

  • good driver but not pro, thats not that hard. but he does know what hes doing, alot better than alot of the highway drivers out there.

  • TS Truck Service must be proud!

  • backing in at a truck stop like that actually wakes you up. :) At least for a while.

  • the tricky part will be getting out it always is

  • Whats the big deal? Why not try a blind side alley dock on a major street. Peg is right I drive LTL as well. I pull doubles/triples rocky sets hiway sets. This is no big trick to me. I guess good job you didnt hit anything.

  • @grbtruck How often do you back doubles/triples? Probably never.

  • @MrINeedSome i never said that i do back doubles or triples but backing this 53 in is no big deal. In ltl you back up 20 or 25 times a day so you get really good at it. Otr guys back up what 4 maybe 5 times a day? Come with me sometime and i will show you some docks you wont even try to back in to.

  • @grbtruck It depend on where you're backing. You can bump a wide open dock all day long with a pup trailer yet that doesn't compare to backing a 53 ft in the dark at a tight truckstop.

I've had to do 90 degree blindside backing into docks plenty of times so please don't try to impress me.

  • @MrINeedSome Ok super trucker you are so right. You are the best there is no way i could compete with a super trucker like you. Obviously by your screen name you are a lady killer as well. Please do not bother me with your feats of truck driving anymore. When your cdl says tx and you have several million miles under your belt then talk to me. Until then i have nothing more to say to you super trucker.

  • Comment removed

  • @grbtruck Hey lady, your the one on here critizing drivers who aren't as superior as you. Don't call me the "super trucker". I'm not sure where you drive but come out here to the east coast and we'll take a run up through NYcity, Boston etc and we'll see how fantastic you are then. By the way, I have doubles/triples endorsement on my CDL.

  • @MrINeedSome Looks like some of your comments have been removed. Im sure this is your video and you are all hurt because we arent impressed with your driving. And by the way the endorsements tx mean doubles triples hazmat and tanker. Obviously you have never had those and probably never will. Ok supertrucker I am really impressed with your backing skills. Do NOT send me any more messages I have devoted more time to this than it deserves.

  • @grbtruck I have all the endorsements, cry-baby. You start shit then "waa-waa" when someone gives it back to you. Please, keep your tonka toy away from us real drivers.

  • DAM THATS TIGHT, good job

  • i could do that in one try with out driving forward only in reverse so thats not a pro. job beginner i would say

  • All I have to say is, if that was considered a good job backing up, then he wouldn't stand a chance as an LTL/Local city driver. I drive for one of the top 50 LTL carriers in the country doing P&D in the city with 48 and 53 footers and twin screw day cabs. I know some are going to bitch about day cabs but, pull a rig like that thru the city all day thru alleys and residentials without hitting anything, and then you are a true "driver". Remember we ran OTR before LTL. Not many can do it.

  • @PegSha06 brings back memories of just that type of driving for a coca-cola outfit driving an intl 8600 city tractor and 48 ft trailers into and out of convenience store parking lots and other godawful places! your backing skills had to be strong!

  • @PegSha06 so your trying to sound superior to everyone else just because you drive for a local city carrier? no one really cares whether the company is a top 50, or any other crap you write down, all that matters is if you can back pure and simple, instead of going on a diatribe of bullshit makin your look less of a professional driver and more of a asshole.

  • @PegSha06 ill agree with you on the LTL bit. i run with a guy who does LTL in a highway tractor and 53 foot van...not easy at all and i hate day cabs >_< they ride like shit!

  • I found out the best way to park in a TS was to get there early!

  • Ive done this when you comin in around 9:00 or 10:00 from driving straight for 10 hours you just want to park that 53' Piece of shit of a trailer and go to bed! it gets tiring!

  • Jeeze, about time..

  • Isn't this what happens almost all the time? I don't get it. If a driver from one of the evil corporate companies takes this long and does this many pull-ups it gets twisted into somehow being "proof" that they are a danger to everyone on the road. Yet when this guy does the exact same thing, it's an example for all to follow? I'm not saying there aren't a lot of criminally bad drivers out there, but you people need to make up your fucking minds about what's acceptable and stop being hypocrites.

  • @Ghost0630 lmao, I love your comment. I think they are praising him for how tight the fit was. It looks like the distance between the two rows isn't even a truck length and the parking space is no more than it was across the way.

I don't know, there was probably a better parking spot in their that he could have went for...

  • Hell that! I would have went some where else. Good job though!

  • This guy gets fired every month. I wouldn't let him touch a Tonka truck.

  • Trucks are getting longer every year and we keep having to manuever into tighter and tighter spaces all the time. Seems like many of the truck stops today are laid out using a cabover with a 48' trailer...

  • what should it be so hard?
