Apparently they cut a crap load of scenes out of ep 4. There was a waking up in bed scene, an appartment scene and more of the bridal shower scene.

I officaly hate ABC!

They've butchered the Caitlin storyline. If they weren't going to do a lesbian storyline justice, why include it? And wtf was up with Caitlin being cut out of most of last episode, only to have her ambushed at the bridal shower by stereotypical baby obsessed lesbians? Why are they being portrayed in such a negative light?

Yes, they're really screwing with her character. The reason she wasn't in the last episode was not because they didn't write anything for her it was because they ended up cutting a majority of her story because the episode was running long. Load of cracker jacks, if you ask me. Let's hope she gets hit with a sense of reality in the next couple episodes and realizes she only dating men to compensate for her fear of being a lesbian. And then I hope she just becomes that lesbian :P

to be fair though Caitlin has told her she is rubbish with relationships and Alicia has been saying that it is too early to say they are in a relationship, no one has said they are exclusive, but it will no doubt hurt when she finds out. Should be interesting

Caitlin was unsure of her sexuality, then happy with Alicia then feels overwhelmed, then cheats on her g/f. That's within a total of 4 episodes. She's a total mess. No wonder she's incapable of having a healthy relationship.

haveuever123 you are so right! Caitlin is a mess and doesn't know which way is up. She is completely overwhelmed, and needs to step back and take a deep breath, and think about her actions. That said, I'd really like to see her and Alicia connect on an intimate level..and for Caitlin to seriously explore her new feelings. Hopefully her character will evolve, and she'll finally be able to be part of a healthy relationship (fingers crossed, with Alicia). :)

Well, they were going to show them waking up together and then decided to cut it because the episode was running long. I think they're cowards! No, I have faith they will redeem themselves and hopefully get this whole thing straightened out. *crosses fingers* I think Caitlin's just afraid.

hope so......Caitlin is all over the place, and needs to get a grip. Alicia also needs to step it up, and not be so passive. The guy that Caitlin gave her card to is very creepy....what the hell was she thinking...oh yeah, she wasn't. Come on Caitlin...we love you, and we want to see you with Alicia! :O)

I think...

1. Alicia doesn't want to push Caitlin into anything she's not sure about.

2.She probably also doesn't want to totally fall for some one who might change their mind in the end.

3. The guy was jerk on purpose I think! The audience is not going to like him, so obviously he's not going to stay. He's just there as a temp. roadblock and to create conflict.

IMO after that last kiss, it's preeeetty obvious Caitlin isn't having second thoughts about liking Alicia. She WANTS to kiss her.

:) Yes Alicia doesn't want to push Caitlin, understandable. Though realistically there is always the possibility that anyone can change their mind so there is always risk involved in new any relationship. Alicia doesn't need to be pushy, but she could do a better job at communicating what she's feeling and what she'd like to have in a relationship...and even though jerk guy has created a slight road block it's pretty clear that Caitlin is very interested in Alicia.

:) yes exactly...also when Alicia just split from Caitlin on the dance floor when another jerk guy happened to show up. Seems she (Alicia) walked away too easily, without even really knowing what was happening. Looking forward to the next episode....fingers crossed for a Caitlin/Alicia (hot) romance. :)

Ditto. Yes I understand what you're saying. I would have been hurt if I was with her & she'd said "Oh no I'm not with that girl" It's like a big slap in the face. But I would have stuck around to be like "Dude, Caitlin, Girl! If you're gonna to be on a date with some one, and you're gonna make out with them in public, some time or another you're going to have to break it to the people around you that are so OBVIOUSLY already watching." In other words, face it, you like women dAmmit!

Uh, I have to admit though that one time when I was at a table with friends (but not really good friends) and one person was like "yeah I think I'm the only gay one here anyways..." I couldn't bring myself to say anything. So much for gaydar. Haha Yeah, but I see her strife.

It can be frightening....being public, and also admitting it to yourself. But you're so right when you say at some point you have to get on with it and face it, regardless of how others feel about it! ;) Caitlin was taken by surprise on the dance floor....ok, makes sense she might freak....but the bathroom jerk?! no excuse for that. Hopefully she figures this out quickly, and begins what could be a very intense and satisfying relationship with a woman! :)
