what should have happened was romero makes the RE movie based on the script he wrote which actually depicts the proper characters in the proper scenarios (i.e. chris and jill in the mansion), and the re movies would then actually transend through the games and we'd get to see a live action leon and claire as they were meant to be (even though claire is in the re movies and leon isn't)
