I dont think its a horrible movie.. It's sad how young hannibal need to take revenge because of his little sister. Young hannibal cannot be in a cell and srart taking like the old hannibal. This films starts how he graudually begin to be evil. He could have a choice to forget a married lady m. If it's like that then there wouldn't be the other three.

Hell yeah...this movie is gonna own. I bought the book two days ago and I'm going to finish it before I see the movie. I've always loved the Hannibal movies.
Hannibal fell in love with Clarice Starling because she wept for the slaughtered spring lambs. Hannibal became a monster after his sister Mischa was eaten by German SS soldiers on the run from the advancing Russian armies in WW2.
mmmm.... as much as I like Hannibal lecter, this movie looks like a simple slasher flick. The book "Hannibal Rising" wasn't good by the way, Lecter goes on a random revenge spree. This didn't really link up with his later depiction as the eloquent cannibal with expensive taste. I could never imagine Hannibal using a Katana, doesn't seem right to me.... :/

The short 'YES.' made me giggle.
