Only one of that girl is Ziggy's biological sister. ( Cedella ). Sharon is his stepsister but she has the Marley surname because Bob legally adopted her. She is Rita's first child but was 8 months old when Bob met Rita. Erica Newell is a high school family friend of the Marleys who record and tour with them when they were a group unit. But she isn't a Marley.

Coollady...Please. Take a chill pill and read my postings carefully before making blanket assumptions. I am not saying anything is so wrong with Sharon being adopted by Bob. Yes I would adopt a child as well, but does that make him/her biologically mine ? No. Will I treat him/her any different than a biological child of mine ? No. All I am pointing out is that Sharon isn't Bob's '' biological '' daughter. Its that simple. Other children such as Serita isn't either.

Also I need not read any books to know about them. My friend was neighbours of the Marleys when they used to reside in Jamaica and I happened to interact with them on more than one occassion. Took photos with them etc. Really nice people. Was not saying you thought Erica was a Marley but many others do because they used to sing together. Ziggy has the SPIRIT of his father (BOB MARLEY) in the pit of his belly. When I watch him I have to remember to breath, the similarities between them are scary. No. Usually during their performances The Melody Makers usually vary some of the lyrics of their fathers song with their own style. I saw a video on here where they sang " Natty Dread " and Ziggy used many of NYC neighbourhood names in the song eg..Brooklyn, Manhatten etc.
