Aww, I miss my mum (moved away from home a few weeks ago). She's understanding like this. She's a very firey person, so when she tells me she'll love me and stand up for me no matter what, you can see in her eyes she really means it. (:

Thank you for this inspiring demonstration of love, courage, and acceptance. There are so many youth who are afraid of being ostracized by their family. I hope this reaches them so that they can start health dialogue with their family members. I hope that folks who reacted negatively when their children came out to them see this and have a change of heart.

Thanks mom for loving your son unconditionally. I have prevented several youth, some as young as 12, from committing suicide.

If more parents had your heart I would not be as busy in this area. The sad fact is, is that most of these kids are from fundamental Christian homes.
