I think it's too hard to tape it right with that many. Maybe it's a regional thing, but I can't seem to find any sparklers that work for bombs these days, no matter how how make them they just won't work. With the right sparklers though you can make quite an explosion. If you use a ton though it flares really fast, like in the video. I suppose that's why you can't find the good ones anymore.

The sparklers weren't contained enough. Wrap them in about 20 rolls of black electrical tape. It's gotta be fully sealed and tight or else it will only be a flare instead of a HUGE explosion.
