This song came out when I was in the 3rd grade. I remember my dad calling me into the DEN on a Sunday night to see "The boys with the long hair" on Ed Sullivan. That was February 9,1964. Still my all time favorite Beatle song ever! BTW, I was bprn on a Sunday, not just any Sunday. It was January 6,1957. That was the day Elvis was on the Sullivan show, & they would only show him from the waist up! No wonder I LOVE music so much!

I had been laid off for over a year and one of the benifits of that was that I was able to take the time to learn to play this and some other Beatles and non Beatles songs on guitar. Maybe I should have looked for work more aggresively but I have no regrets. I could have been doing worse things. I had always wanted to learn to play this on guitar and I'm glad I did.
