Be aware that Sprint NO LONGER offers unlimited 4G with any of their hotspots or usb devices. Dan Hesse says 'PHONES' not these types of devices when you see him on television saying Sprint has unlimited data.
I read that this mobile hotspot device has to be regularly reset after a few short minutes of non-use and that in some way affects the already limited 5GB of data transfer. Was I misinformed? Does anyone have any helpful information about that? Thank you.
been waiting for this, Sprint pulls in 3mbps on 3G here all the time, Verizon is about 1mbps, AT&T is about 2mbps, T-Mobile 3g is about 400kbps, Cricket 3G is about 500kbps.
I'm about 2 seconds away from taking mine back. Keep in mind I'm only getting 1 to 2 signal bars. I'm going to take this thing to work and see if I get more bars. But as of right now it's downloading a 3 minutes video in about 7 minutes. And while in Sirius radio in "Buffers" 1/4 to 1/6 of the time ruining the music. I'm very unhappy. However, perhaps when I get some more bars up it will be better.
Sprint might be the first to get 4g but Verizon and At&t will be getting 4g as well. It really does not matter anyway because the wireless web is BLAZING FAST on Verizon right now anyway so this video is not really saying much anyway,
