It was darker and the trees were even a tad bit different. Your version is not the full original.

Watch the ORIGINAL 1980's version, not the newer VHS on tape, or DVD doctored up crap which was added later after all the controversy about the hanging was getting out of hand. In the original film, there is NO birds at all in any of the scenes you've shown, and there is clearly a body hanging.

In the VHS of 1986 was when you could actually see the body hanging the muchkin was wearing a brown coat. In the VHS in 1989 they changed it to a bird. I have the 1989 version but anyone who has a VHS of this movie go look at the back and if it is 1986 you have the body in yours it does not swing out of control it just moves with the wind he must of jumped when they were talking. SO remember look for the body in a brown coat swaying with the wind.
