I love the Nox Arcana songs, but they lack something other songs do. They have buildup, and beauty--but they lack a strong climax. It ends up being repetitive, rather than inspiring.  Beautiful... but nothing more.

@BlackMageMasta Better than Horror D&D, you should try Call of Cthulhu games. Not set in a fantasy world, but my group and I enjoy it much more because of the rules focus on atmosphere, it all let's the real spookiness set in. (Which led me to finding Nox Arcana to use as our soundtrack :D )

How do people find their music dark? I love Nox Arcana, they have inspired me and a lot of my writing. There's nothing dark about Nox Arcana other than their name (if anyone knows latin you'll understand) and the lack of attention they recieve.
