So Brian gave him "a handjob" as John put it, but it didn't go further than that. Brian always liked John better than the rest. He helped The Beatles because of John.

Without his legwork The Beatles might never have made it..not because they weren't talented, but because Brian "hit the pavement" & pushed for a record deal. If you read Anthology, The Beatles clearly stated that they were ready to give up; were tired of being rejected..& THEY didn't want to "pound the pavement", so to speak, so Brian did if for them. He was truly the 5th Beatle. Luv u Brian.
