  • @stoogewatcher the response video to the ad that i saw was respectful of her choice. two other athletes said that they respect her choice and hope for a world in which the choices of all women are respected. i disagree with abortion unless the circumstances are extreme (cases of rape, health emergency, etc) but i will defend a woman's legal right to choose because my views are largely based in my religion and i want others to keep their religion out of politics so i extend the same respect

  • fucking bible thumpers

  • They don't all turn out like Tim Tebow, it depends on how you raise them.

  • pro choice any fuckin day.

  • @sayanroy36 And yet the "pro-choice" movement didn't respect Pamela Tebow's choice not to abort.

  • @StoogeWatcher

OH really?i was never one of them(i highly doubt there's many like that).i respect her decision.its all about freedom.at no point should i support 9 old aristocrats in the supreme court making my life's decisions.

there's plenty of situations where an abortion is not only required, its humane

im sure the mother of a 14 year old pregnant girl who was gang raped during a brutal home invasion will agree. or that deaf and dumb girl, who was tricked into a date rape.i can go on

  • @StoogeWatcher

That sentence pretty much summed up the entire REAL story to that ad. Good way to put it.

  • @sayanroy36 Aren't you glad your mom wasn't pro-choice?

  • @Snackbar47

its really funny..that the neo-con agenda has made pro-choice = abortion.funny. but if you read what i wrote, pro choice doesnt mean abort all babies. it is the only way out in some cases

here's a simple scenario...if my is pregnant, and within a month or so, doctors discover a cancerous growth or a weak heart in her.they say she will die if she goes through the pregnancy stage and gives birth. only way to save her is abortion...well guess what? i'll save my wife first.you would too

  • @Snackbar47 The only people who support abortion are the ones who have had the privilege of being born.

  • What's the big deal? If you are "PRO CHOICE" you must absolutely love and respect, support and encourage things like that commercial.

It is their CHOICE and you of all people stand for "choice".

Tim Tebow's mom CHOSE to let Tim live.

That commercial satisfies both camps. The PRO-LIFE people and the PRO-CHOICE people. Anyone who gets mad about that ad is illogical and crazy.

  • @Mr88playmaker ...you are so correct....but do not let the vast majority of people who claim to be "pro-choice" fool you....they are actually advocates for abortion, wanting them to be performed on as many children as possible because they hate humanity....it is this elitist mindset they have, they want population control. This is why they hate Tim Tebow's mom, because she chose life, they are only "pro-choice" when the choice is the murder of a little boy or girl, this choice they celebrate.

  • That video isn't even funny...

  • Colt McCoy > Tim Teebow

    Sam Bradford > Tim Teebow

  • @maxwellhouse72 Alabama > Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy. screwed em both up!

  • @maxwellhouse72 Tim Tebow > maxwellhouse72

  • @maxwellhouse72 true cause teebow sucks now i see it this way

    TEBOW > McCoy

    TEBOW > Bradford

  • IDK! that just turned out by bad parenting

  • a private company paying with their money to put something on television is now unfair, because the National Organization of Whiners doesn't agree with it? Let the bra-burners spend their money and see what they come up with for next years Superbowl. I'm dying to see the result. "Pro-choice is the way to be! Unless you choose to keep the kid! Then you're just a cave-woman! You probably still cook and shave your legs!" :-)

  • hes not funny ..... destroying a chance of life is the same a murder.

  • lol thats funny

  • Actually Kimmel said something untrue. Pam Tebow did NOT consider an abortion. She was ADVISED by her doctors to do such, but obviously stuck to her convictions. God Bless.

  • @AuGirl1305 Quibble much? May the goddess of love sitting on my shoulder bless you.....

  • @firegod001 Actually it isn't a trivial point. When it comes to a major issue such as abortion considering and not considering are two very different things. She is against abortion completely so saying that she considered one would take away from how committed she is to her personal belief. God Bless.

  • @AuGirl1305 Actually in her native country where she was supposedly "advised" to have the abortion, abortions were illegal at that time.

One day the voice of reason will touch the hearts of you so tainted by a 3000 year old book written by primitive genocidal sand people.

  • @Aberusugi Actually she is from the US and was advised. She would have returned to the United States to have the abortion, however she did not.

  • @AuGirl1305 I dont get it....so do you think she would have been wrong to abort the child if it meant saving her life? you think this would make her selfish? i think its great that she made a choice on her own to decide to have her child, but i don't think anyone should judge her or make her feel wrong if she did the opposite for her own health. im not a mother and ive never been pregnant but i can image how hurt and torn someone must feel having to make this decision. it must be tough.

  • liberals nowadays are so blinded by the term pro-choice, they eventually refuse to acknowledge that there are people who CHOOSE to be pro-life. irony, isn't it?

  • @wsasmita You would have gotten a thumbs up, if you hadn't painted all liberals with that ridiculous brush of yours, moron.

  • LOL, why is it so HARD for proliquors to say "Women who get abortions are no different from Charles Manson, and should get the death penalty like he did!"

Seems if the fetus is every bit the person Sharon Tate was, they should have no trouble saying it. It's an easy call, right? Yet they almost NEVER say it. About 5% will.

  • Women don't want the fetus dead, they just want it OUT. I'm sure if there was a way to take it out alive, women would JUMP at it, theyd LEAP at it.

  • @Hexl702 There is a way to "take it out alive", it's called giving birth. I know most women are desperate when they do something like this, but, that's why educating them on the deveoplment of the baby is wise. But, Pro-aborts are afraid to give this information, because, most women would probably NOT have the abortion, if they could see that it is a baby, just very tiny.

  • Okay, Here is something to think about for all you pro-choice people. Your main argument is it's their body and they should have the right to do with it as they please. Well before I start my argument it is NOT her body because she has another body inside of her. What happened to that? Okay, now this is a very simple argument yet effective, what if one day a mother didn't want her born son and killed him. Abortion is generally doing the same thing. Would you support abortion then?

  • @TitansQ ""this is effective""

::slaps head:::Yeah, in all 37 years of the debate we never heard that one! Why didnt I think of that:: ::(LOL!)

A woman killing a born son is a murderer. There are ways to get rid of a born child, like adoption, that she couldve availed herself of. We have to punish women who took that route.

But you cannot get "adopt out" or surrender a fetus. Only some 29 states have fetal homicide laws. Theyre careful to say "This is not the same as abortion."

  • @TitansQ

Why is abortion different from murder?

Because a fetus is different. If we were in the fetus' world, we'd die. If a fetus is in our world, they die. Its logical to treat different things differently.

And a woman is in exercise of a right when she does it --the right to decide if/when/how many kids her body bears.

It's not a case of "supporting abortion", its legality. You dont have to like something, to think it should be legal.

  • @Hexl702

Abortion and murder are in no way different. The only difference is that it's silent and the government has in no way banned it. Another argument I came across is, "If the baby can not support itself outside the womb then it should be killed" Men and women who are on life support and cannot support themselves should we murder them silently as well? If I was to hire an assassin and he killed someone I would be imprisoned. Abortion is the same basic concept.

  • @TitansQuarterback16

Abortion and murder arent the same thing. You really think women going in the clinics have the same motives and impulses as killers like OJ Simpson, Charles Manson, Richard Ramirez, etc.etc.? That they "murderl" the same way they did?

Most prolickers think the opposite - theyre very sympathetic to the woman and want to cut her every slack.

  • @Hexl702

Your argument is ludicrous, a murder has the mind set of making something that was once there not there anymore. I have stumbled across multiple amounts of women who have sex blatantly and get multiple abortions because, apparently it is moral right for someone to take a life. They all have the same malicious mind set of all serial killers. If the women wanted the fetus out of them then they would have simply put up the child for adoption, they do not want it out they want it dead.

  • @TitansQuarterback16 """murder mindset"""

LOL you clown. We have five degrees of illegal killing. We make distinctions and gradations because all killing isn't equal. 1st and 2nd deg. murder, voluntary and invol. manslaughter, and negligent homicide. Different standards/penalties for different killing.

Yet here you are saying women getting abortions are up there with the 1st deg. murders. LOL, when prolooas talk like that, they lose and we succeed (like we always have) !

  • @Hexl702

Prochockers have prevailed. The government and its people are not thinking about what's right they are thinking about what will give them money because a large percentile of profits made from abortion are given to many politicians. The government is corrupt. It would be similar to asking the devil(even if you don't believe in him you know the evil) to forget his evil ways and start a new. It isn't going to happen. It is not that it's right it's the fact that the world is corrupt.

  • @TitansQuarterback16

Geez, how come gawd hasnt struck America down like he did other places in the bible? 50 million abortions and he hasnt smote us yet? How many more does he need to see before he blows his top ?

  • @Hexl702 our own hell is that we cannot no nor remotely comprehend gods glory. WE AREN'T EVEN WORTHY OF HIS PUNISHMENT!

  • @TitansQuarterback16

You didnt answer the question - do women deserve the death penalty / life in prison like other murderers? You avoided the question. Your silence WEIGHS A TON.

  • @Hexl702

I am a student of Law so, I know the law. I however, do not support the death penalty because, I am a pro-lifer. However, if it came down to it yes I do believe that they should be given the death penalty. No pro-lifer shows true remorse for the woman. They show her this false remorse so that she will go out and maybe attempt at changing the way the world thinks. The world is unjust and has lost its morals. Trying to bring good into a corrupt world will not work. That is why prochocker

  • @TitansQuarterback16 ""they should be given the death penalty"""

That's music to Hexl's ears! When prolaughables talk like that, they lose and we suceed! I don't hear a single pro-lip politician talking like that, and there's an election coming up!

We'll stack that up against "safe, legal and rare," and win the day like we always have.

  • Comment removed

  • @TitansQuarterback16

No prochoicer I ever heard of said any baby "should" be killed. Point me to any mission statement, group proclamation or leader saying stuff like that. That's your spin on prochoicers because you hate em.

  • @TitansQuarterback16

If abortion and murder are no diferent -- then you think women should be subject to the death penalty/life in prison like other murderers get ? You didnt say so.

Fine, preach it all you like. We'll stack that up against " safe , legal and rare,"

and win the day like we always have.

  • MOM,,

    where my sandwiches!!!!!

  • JKL!!!!!! Dude, Windy City Heat was one of the most hilarious movies every ever created. BRILLIANT!

  • I think people should stop trying to be "martyrs."

Why do you care what someone who you don't even know is choosing to do with THEIR life? I'm sure they don't get some thrill out of getting an abortion. It's something that will haunt them for the rest of their life, but they made that decision. Anyway, if you are a "Christian" or any type of religious person, you should believe that they will get what's coming to them in the end. You must not have much faith in your so called God.

  • lol ever noticed no one likes abortion?

  • @karnos1 ""notice no one ever likes abortion"""

Geez, maybe because it's an operation? Youd have to be weird ass to enjoy medical procedures. I dunno, maybe you LIKE root canal.

  • Contra-ception = Against-Life

    ABORTION = 1 DEAD + 1 WOUNDED

  • MOM I WANT MY FUCKING SANDWICH!

  • If only Hitler, Bin Laden, and Castro's mom's would have had abortions...

  • That's right they don't always turn out like Tebow. Mine didn't.

  • @Aquaman213855 """they dont always turn out like Tebow"""

No one hollers louder than rightwads about how the children of single mothers turn out to be "gangstas, criminals, welfare loafers and Democrats."

  • @Hexl702 I know, your exactly right!

  • murder sucks

  • It is ridiculous to say that Christians don't believe in contraception. We just don't think abortion is one of the contraception options. And most of us are not the wacky, intolerant, hateful people the media makes us out to be. There are always going to be small minds, on EVERY side of any argument. And it certainly fits the liberal agenda to paint us all that way because they don't believe that people can make informed decisions without their tainted versions of reality.

  • @janice4jc

If you dont want an abortion, no one can force you to get one. Why are you pissing and moaning like it's otherwise?

  • @XwispaX Interesting opinion. I don't think it really holds up though. Do I have the right to do what I wish with my body? In certain circumstances I don't. If I kill myself, life insurance doesn't cover anything because suicide is illegal. So since I don't have the right to end my own life, why should I have the right to end an unborn child's life (or potential life if within 1st trimester)?

  • It's not even funny. If this trashy guy's parents would of done their job right as parents and raised him to be a hard worker, hones and clean guy he wouldn't of been the trash he is, stealing from them, lazy and without a job.. On the other hand Tebow's mom did an excellent job in raising her son, teaching him values, honesty and over all about God that now he is a good person with values, a job, clean and a Bronco player.

  • How can anybody be pro choice? Abortion is murder. Murder is against Gods law.

  • @Albertwesker721 god doesnt exist.

  • Wow...I support abortion (within 1st trimester), but uncoolnerd's comment just took a thing too far. A fetus is technically a parasite? After 1st trimester it begins to develop human feature and move around. It's not even a 'technically parasite' that you kill at will. Only reason abortion should be allowed is when mother is really poor or a fetus was created through rape or other sexual assaults.

    Uncool, dude. Uncool.

  • lmfao

  • lol ha ha

  • Stanley Ann Dunham could have aborted her son but she chose to birth him anyway knowing that he could turn out to be a bumbling buffoon of a president like Jimmy Carter.

But as fate would have it he was worse than Jimmy Carter.

ms Dunham gave birht to Barrak Husein Obama.

  • I love this.

  • I recycle, and if my neighbor doesnt recycle Im not going to get pissed at him over it. You cant control other people when it comes to their bodies, you just cant. Now if a person gets abortions as often as a teeth cleaning, thats fucked up, but people could have health reasons why an abortion will save there life, and a million other reasons why it is acceptable in my mind. But seriously, if u think an abortion is going to keep u out of heaven , dont get one, and let us all go to hell then.

  • this was funny

  • Comment removed

  • @surfs1man whats mentionable about being uncircumsised?

  • I like uncircumcised men! Their penises are plump and hard, but circumcised mens penises are nasty

  • @surfs1man - You liar. I want you to prove it.

  • Hexl702, you make a stand for it by saying that people are not financially ready, but isnt that why adoption was concieved in the first place? Parents that are not ready financially, maturely or intellectualy? Abortion is a sin that is irreconcilable. If you dont want the child, put it up for adoption, or if adoption in your case is not an option keep the damn thing, be responsible for your own actions.

  • """put it up for adoption""

Some women don't want to go through those 9 long months. We've decided that's their right.

  • Abortion is more than murder, it's genocide. If you don't want kids, keep your legs close, pants zipped. Staple them shut if you have to. You kids today lack any sense of morality, dignity, self respect, self worth; it's all about how many people you can have sex with; then when you're used up and nobody wants you, you wonder where it all went wrong just before you commit suicide or overdose.

  • Keep it classy christian mission, keep it classy. What is your stance on contraception, condoms and such?

  • ""christian mission"

He has dignity and self worth. "Heroic abstainer" sounds a lot better than "pathetic loser than no one in their right mind wants"

  • "What is your stance on contraception, condoms and such? " Answer that please.

If you feel people using contraception, birth control and condoms are perfectly acceptable, then I absolutely agree that people should NOT run around having unwanted/unplanned children. However, NOT giving people the option of protection, and further denying birth control, is ridiculous. I cannot fathom how laws can be passed regulating abortion and marriage, since when is it OK to turn YOUR religion into MY law?

  • I'm with ya on marriage. Abortion, not so much. I don't think it's acceptable to murder a child on the technicality that "it's your body." Every woman has a choice: don't have sex. We're all adults and we all know what sex is primarily for: procreation.

  • @tjminter81 Just wondering, what's your opinion for somebody that's been raped? or even more, if somebody's been raped and there is a large health risk for them to have the baby?

  • Here are the facts! If a man is raped, he goes thought both physical and mental stress for quite some time, but If a woman gets raped, she must go through that stress even more so because she will be carrying her rapists baby, whenever she sees the baby she will remember the rape, when the baby grows up, she must tell him or her, that will cause stress for the child because he/she will fell unloved and will probably commit suicide! Abortion is necessary in cases of rape!

  • @Paulwhoisvegan I partially agree with that. However, it is possible for a women that was raped to have the baby and give it up for adoption. I think it really depends on how much the woman can deal with the situation. High risk pregnancy is a different situation.

My question was that if a woman is raped, and therefore has no choice in the pregnancy and it turns out to be high risk, would it be "acceptable" in this person (who claims every woman has a choice)'s POV to have an abortion

  • @Paulwhoisvegan well dont you have all the answers. I love how you can predict, on a whim, how another persons life will end up after rape.

  • @cwaters117 I can't! But that's the way it is for a substantial amount of men and woman,I am just giving the women who do feel that way the CHOICE! They don't have to have an abortion! THEY HAVE THE CHOICE! FREEDOM OF CHOICE!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Paulwhoisvegan Killing people in NOT a choice.

  • @bcmasta1returns killing a fetus, technically a parasite that feeds on your body for 9 months, until that thing is outside and breathing its not human and its not murder, fuck off dipshit.

  • @uncoolnerd I agree with skw4712, instead of coming to an educated yet peaceful solution to one of America's most controversial issues. Uneducated fools like you, who just want to troll people off, get in the way and do nothing but stir up violence and hate for each other. Until you actually know what you are talking about on this sensitive subject, you F**k off, and get a job while you are at it.

  • @bcmasta1returns First of all, How am i uneducated when i'm in the process of getting my bachelor's in Biology. Secondly, who do you think a women would agree with, the guy who lets them have the choice over their bodies or a dumbass that doesn't know what he is talking about?. Thirdly, i do have a job i have to pay for college myself no one does it for me. Fourthly, the people that believe in pro-life are anything but rational. Woman should have the choice, ignorant fucks like you, not so much.

  • @uncoolnerd ...........wow uncool nerd your an idiot.....that was by far the dumbest thing i have heard in my entire life and ive heard some dumb shit.........you must have been a parasite when you where a child but i wasnt......stupid ass

  • @gibberishpro its not your its "you're" Learn proper grammar before you call someone an idiot.

  • @uncoolnerd sorry didnt realize i was being graded on my spelling mistakes. want a cookie?...dipshit

  • @uncoolnerd Ya, sure ya do. Just like the bum in the park is a an astronaut and major league quarter back. Or the crazed fan girl is Miley Cyrus's BFF! Gee, for a super busy VIP like you, you sure have a lot of time to sit on the computer and mindlessly troll videos with typical mainstream rants, sprinkled with the most delightful and mature choices of words that are just programed to let people know you really think about what you say! Excuse me for wasting your precious VIP seconds!

  • @bcmasta1returns how is he being a troll when he is saying women should have the choice? If you are a guy do you know what child birth is like? no, so shut the fuck up. When you can't do something, you have no right to tell someone else what to do. He isnt the troll you are.

  • @AcctManagment Oh you made another account, how cute.

  • @AcctManagment BTW, I'm sure you would love to see a murderer go behind bars for the "choices" he made. You anti choice hypocrite! Shame on you for telling people who just want to express their feelings through violence what to do with their own bodies!

  • @Paulwhoisvegan A Rape is bad thing........but it's not the baby's fault. So don't kill the baby for somebody else's fault.

And yes women have the freedom of choice....they can keep their feet together if they don't want to have a child. No one's forcing them to have sex.

  • @castjoshua It's not a baby until 3 months, until then, it's only a bunch of cells

  • @Paulwhoisvegan Still man. Just the thought of mutilating and ripping apart that beautiful gift of life is very disturbing. People block out those images so it doesnt feel bad

  • @allinyomouf amen!

  • @ChristianMission - Good for you man. This world is so far gone in morals I am very happy there are people like you. I catch myself thinking and doing crazy things and I think to myself what am I doing.

  • @freelandwhippet the christians did keep it classy. there was nothing hateful in the tebow ad. it's about how you raise kids. and yes, the child is higher priority than the mother. is it the child's fault that the mother became pregnant? no. is it the mother's? yes. hard truth, but there is nothing honorable about putting your life before someone else's

  • @gilkwad I actually totally agree the commercial was very well made. My "keep it classy" comment was directed at the user Christian MIssion. I am strongly Pro-Choice. That being said, I feel there should be strict guidelines as to when an abortion can take place. After a certain amount of time, partial birth abortions and such should just not be allowed.

All that being said. It absolutely blows my mind that "Christians" would not allow use of contraception, condoms or any other birth control.

  • @freelandwhippet christians are allowed to use contraception. You are thinking of the catholic faith that believes you shouldn't use contraception.

  • @gilkwad IN addition to their stance on "no contraception" they are against teaching sexual education, iN SCHOOL. School, you know, the place that is supposed to prepare you for life and give you detailed information so when a situation arises an individual can make informed choices. Without having all the facts, only bad choices could be made. Sexual education and sex draws direct parallels to the health care debate. Republicans have NO actual plan, so they will just slam the opposing opinion.

  • @freelandwhippet hold on. everyone uses contraception. no one is attacking that. who wants kids during the first few years of marriage? however, if you should happen to get pregnant, there is life inside you. destroying life is killing. destroying human life is murder. and as far as sex ed, yeah, they need it, but abstinence is the only proper choice prior to being married. just think about it. in a moral world, std's would be unheard of, and there would be less unplanned pregnancy

  • yikes, a little harsh don't you think?

  • ""you kids today""

The other proloafers are gonna be mad at you. You're supposed to rejoice that these awful kids were born.

The proloofas bitch about the kids that never got born, and bitch about the kids who WERE. Hexl puzzled. Hexl scratch head.

  • @ChristianMission Lol irony.

  • A nice reason for killin'. Brava the National Organization for Women. Kill and kill and kill again.

  • Comment removed

  • So kill them anyway.

  • Comment removed

  • All babies that were murdered don't all turn out to be Tim Tebow.

  • Comment removed

  • I swear, the prolickers cant make up their tiny minds. Theyre pissing and bawling about all the "babies that were never born," and then pissing and bawling about the bastards that WERE born. Hexl puzzled. Hexl scratch head.

  • I could just as easily blame it on a vulgarized, commercialized culture where modern technology has produced overstimulated but undersensitized shallow people (if I don't have to produce any figures either). I think I'd have a better argument.

  • LOL I hope youre not pinning your hopes on this lame argument to stop abortion. Why don't you try hollering 'MURDER!" a little louder.

  • LOL! If you hate guys abandoning their kids -- imagine if you outlawed abortion and every child was forced to be born to people who can't afford them. Then you really WILL see an increase in men ditching their women and babies. And you won't be able to blame it on abortion!

  • I have a better explanation for the reason abortion remains legal. Proliquors don't believe their own shit, and wouldn't act on it even if they did. If their position "abortion is murder" had any teeth at all, it wouldve succeeded a long time ago.

  • Two points: You gain no converts by playing ad hominem silly name games (unless you think "Barry Hussein" is a clever turn of phrase). And two, you're absolutely right about the hypocrisy. Google "The Only Moral Abortion is My Abortion"

  • """'gain no converts""

That isn't my point. Abortion is legal, we don't have to rely on converts. I know the proliquors don't like abortion - I'm not asking them to. I want them to not interfere with a woman who's made her choice.

  • I could try to hang this "deteroriating society" on the proloofas if I wanted. Single women who have no business having kids, get their egos swollen by the prolickers who tell her goop like "Every child is precious" "Your baby might be the next Obama!" when we know full well single motherhood is a diaster and these women only perpetuate, and increase, the misery.

  • Sex, my main point (and that of the Nobel prize-winning Akerlof) is that "abortion rights" actually worked to INCREASE not DECREASE the incidence of out-wedlock-births by promoting sexual promiscuity (to use an old pejorative) and alienating biological fathers from a sense of paternal duty. I would also add encouraging (at least marginally) sexually active people to be LESS rather than MORE likely to use contraception.

  • """desertion has increased""

Im still waiting for you to prove that assertion by citing some actual figures. If youre going by raw numbers Hell the U.S. population has doubled in the last 50 years or so, you could truthully something's doubled while the actual rate could stay the same.

  • Sex, I'll refer you to your "we know full well single motherhood is a disaster" comment above. Why is it a disaster, Sex? Isn't it largely because such women often raise their kids alone? In 1972 (the year before Roe) the percentage of babies born out-of-wedlock in the USA was about 13%. Now it is about 40%. Whether you realize it or not you've conceded me the point already.

  • Comment removed

  • ""sexual liberty""

That happened with the Pill. Americans had fully embraced the Pill and the Sexual Revolution was launched at least a full decade before RoeVWade.

As usual, the desperate proliquors try to hang abortion with all the ills of the world. Nice try.

  • Lame, Sex. Yes, the Sexual Revolution started before Roe but so what? A trend can start for one set of causes and later be promoted by others. Hard core pornography didn't "start" with the internet. Get the point??

  • LOL! To hear you talk, the culture pre Roe would produce a society where abortion was unthinkable. We were more moral, then, right (LOL!)

    Cont'd....

  • ...cont'd

Thus that 1st year it was legal, there shouldve been only a few thou' abortions, eh. And it should then increase exponentially as it "normalized."

Instead, that 1st year there were 800,000 abortions right off the bat. Looks like those "moral" people were prime for this.

And it hasnt increased exponentially either. It's held pretty steady around a million a year for 37 years now. Proliquors are always hurling accusations at abortion. I still dont buy your goofy assertions.

  • I mean if men use some kinda justification - "I can walk away from you because there's abortion," all she has to do is not get an abortion, right? Then much to his surprise, he's on the hook for 18 years of child support! Some tactic LOL!

Looks like the problem isnt - abortion is legal - the problem is, men are STUPID!

  • Hey hey hey... "SOME men", if you please.

    Thank you.

  • LOL youre right. Prochoicers owe a great deal to men. Men decided RoeV, male politicians defend women's rights, male cops haul off proloofas blocking the clinics, male doctors courageously provide abortion services and some male dr's have even been shot and killed for it. A nod of thanks to men!

  • Gosh, you REALLY ARE slow on the uptake, Sex!!. Men DON'T NEED to walk away from their offspring when a women has an abortion because their IS NO CHILD to walk away from. It is when women DON't ABORT that a woman's "right to chose" allows men to see their children as the product of FEMALE rather than MUTUAL choice, and thus strictly a FEMALE responsibity. "On the hook for 18 years of child support"? Hardly. You can't get blood from a stone. How effectively are child support laws enforced?

  • I mean if the very guy youre championing here is making these assertions against abortion, and yet still thinks it should be legal - Hexl can only imagine how he arrives at that conclusion!

But Hexl doesnt particularly care HOW he arrives at that dog's breakfast he calls his opinion - just that he does.

  • I don't particularly care why a woman gets an abortion. If she truly wanted one and was under no illusions, that's her business and not mine.

If you have a right to do something, it doesn't matter how many there are and how awful it looks. I also wouldnt care if there were a million burglar shootings a year either. If you have a right to do something, there's no such thing as "too many."

  • HAHA.... Tim Tebow must represent the Republican Party and the unemployed jimmy kimmel guy must be a liberal from the democrat party.... hahahahaha.... nice one cnn!!! i love it!!!

  • Your post is actually kind of a slam against men - "give men a chance to desert their kids and they wont just like it - They'll JUMP AT IT, they LEAP AT IT!"

LOL are you sure you wanna say that? The men's rights groups will be on your ass in no time!

If men are deserting their kids, then we need to go after them with child support laws, not outlaw abortion.

  • A bit slow on the uptake, Sex? What's this nonsense about "need(ing) to go after (men) with child support laws"? Strange! The SexI702 position is that men don't co-create human beings at all. Instead they co-create mere embryos; a part of a woman's body which a woman may or may not convert into a human being. Since, according to SexI702, women "own" their own bodies

THEY, and not somebody else, also "own" the choices they make about those bodies, including the choice to risk pregnancy.

  • limphardonguy - You made the ridiculous, laughable assertion that men get more women pregnant because of abortion - A man knows when to get a woman pregnant? LOL! How does a man know a woman has erupted an egg from her ovary sac, so nows the time to release some sperm to meet it and she can abort it later?

Logic would tell us - at that hot moment in the back seat, abortion is the last thing on men's minds.

  • No, Sex, logic would tell us that you have very little of it. Many people have supported "abortion rights" not so much because it advances "women's rights" but because it promotes "sexual freedom" in general. More sexual freedom generally results in more sex outside of marriage. Social trends have all sorts of underlying causes.

  • Limphardonguy--I truly don't understand what youre whining about. Its only dirty minded people like you that strictly associate abortion and "sexual freedom."

Married couples get abortions too, which has zip to do with "men walking away."

LOL you whining about slow Hexl -your man Akerlof posits his theory & then rejects his own conclusions. He doesnt think abortion should be illegal. He doesn't sound particularly worried about it And you vouch for him. That cracks me up.

  • "Dirty minded people" such as historian David Garrow, a Martin Luther King Jr. biographer and author of "Liberty and Sexuality: The Right to Privacy and the Making of Roe v. Wade." A pretty consistent 80% of the women who get abortions are unmarried. Of those who are married an unknowable but probably significant percentage are pregnant by someone other than their husband. Whether one is a fan of more "sexual liberty" or not, anyone with a lick of sense knows that legal abortion has promoted it.

  • As for Akerlof's unwillingness to support the repeal of legal abortion there are any number of plausible explanations. He may feel that society is now "too far gone" in the direction of "sexual liberty" for it to do much good. He may fear the social and political firestorm that would result. As a liberal Democratic academic he may fear alienation from "the club". None of this means that his observations about the results of legal abortion are incorrect.

  • ""instead they cocreate mere embryos"

Dont comment on what I didnt say. Hexl never said these arent live human beings. Hexl merely says abortion should be legal. So do 85% of the U.S. public. Their reasons are as individual as they are.

It's too bad men can't exercise a choice. But they don't have uteruses to house a fetus. That's not women's fault.

  • So, then, what you're saying, Sex, is that one human being's "right" not to give birth trumps another human being's "right" to live. Curious. Then you should have no trouble believing that one human being's "right" not to take on the duties of parenthood trumps another human being's "right" to have TWO responsible parents. LOL.

  • """right not to give birth trumps anothers right to live""

Hell, I can get the prolickers to do the same thing. If a woman walked up to some proloofa saying "I need $5000.00 or i'll have to get an abortion," the proloofa will say something like "You will not extort money from me! I will not be blackmailed!" with righteous indignation.

Thus even the prolickers think some things trump a fetus' right to live.

  • SEX!!! Do I really need to respond to this one? I'll give you a chance to rewrite first.

  • In pregnancy, there is no such thing as an obligation that the man has to meet.

Thats very different when theres an actual live baby that needs food, clothing and shelter. This is not a "double standard," it's two different standards for two different things.

To think proliquors actually advocate that a man should theoretically be able to dodge his responsibility while saying a woman has to meet hers. And you were just bitching about men NOT meeting their responsibilities. LOL !

  • No, that's not even what I'M saying, Sex, and I'm hardly your typical pro-lifer, anyway. What I'M saying (and even you are smart enough to understand it) is that once a woman is ALLOWED to dodge what was once her part of the "conceptional bargain" (woman obligated to give birth, man obligated to economically support the child) men will feel increasingly justified in dodging what was once their part of it.

  • "Abortion helps men desert their kids" LOL this is just the latest slam against abortion made by the desperate prolickers. Theyve made all kinds of wild claims - abortion is killing off black people, it causes cancer, it's gonna be the death of social security, Western Civilization itself!

It's not like any of the prolickers' other tactics have worked!

  • Women said abortion would lower illegitimacy rates? Who told you that and why did you believe them?

Hexl never said that. I always said abortion helps the individual woman who wants one, and keeping it legal keeps her from going to prison for it.

  • What if I made a bunch of assertions that women have made huge strides into business and politics because abortion was available to them and they didn't have to be encumbered by children on the way up, and how wonderful! The prolickers would screech and holler like someone was tearing THEIR arms and legs off?

  • Very negative veiw of life. Most of the people born since 1973 are not bums to say they are is an insult.

  • """abortion .. to exterminate the black race, this is what liberals stand for""

So, what you're REALLY saying, is blacks are stupid to be Democrats. LOL, I'd like to see you in the hood, lecturing blacks on how stupid, ridiculous and idiotic they are.

  • Abortion saves Lives

    Howard Stern

  • I would love to have a mother of a serial pedophile rapist to come on and say, "I wish I had a choice."

  • really? Thats what you would love? Low expectations in life to an extreme.

  • Since you suffer from low cognitive functionality, you managed to miss the devil's advocate play by a galaxy. Bravo cupcake, bravo! Have some perspective--literally.

  • hahaha, awesome vidoe.

  • The evil that you do will destroy you.....it is only a matter of time.

  • HAHA
