if you use pipe insted of plates it will act as an inductor and give you more H2 with less Amps, and if you use 2 big magnets at the top, the lines of fluxs will seperate the H2 and O so you can add the H2 directly in through your fule and the O into the intake that will bump you up to about 100 to 110 miles per gallon. anyways thought i would help. o ya, you can build a chip for hydrogen on demand and hook it to your gas peddle, make it from radio shack stuff, i have some scmatics if you want.
How, in your estimation, does burning the hydrogen produce more energy than separating they hydrogen from the oxygen? If it really makes such a big difference in mileage, you'd be able to condense the exhaust, reseparate the H from the O2 and have a perpetual motion machine. You'd solve world energy problems and be the richest man in the world. This is, unfortunately, a scam. If you don't believe me, do a certified EPA test under controlled conditions, or at least a 2-way average at cnst spd
My friend I have had lots of attacks on something that I did to save myself some money and to show others. There are many doing it. The system how it is now, dont have room for people trying to bring in another tech of this nature. So much dis-info.
The system is a scam and all you the buy into the idea that its not a simple problem to address. Im no rocket scientist and it was simple for me and my friends.
ya i have to agree with blur here your using power from your engine to spin the alternator (there is some loss of energy there). then using that electricity to conduct electrolysis (which also isn't entirely efficient) thus losing efficiency.
Why oh Why does everyone persist with this, you need at least 2-3 % (ideally 5%) of the fuel going in to start getting real HHO boost effects, and to actually gain efficiency you need to start retarding timing, HHO Boosting works by increasing the flame or burn speed of the gasoline there for allowing ignition closer to TDC, thous allowing less energy pushing the piston against the stroke and allowing the fuel to burn more completely as the piston travels down.
You would be lucky to get 1% drawing 20 or 30 amps (keeping in mind you lose efficacy as wasted energy goes into heating the water and the hotter the worse the hho production) after you calculate your extra load on the alternator this systems is really ineffective your test are wrong as you are trying save fuel you drive more economically, a static test on a Dyno is they way to get real data.
Try this on an older engine with Straight hydrogen %5 percent injected right beside the intake valve via a small tube, retard the timing to 1 or even 0 degrees (you may have to retard it after engine has started) redo dyno test and see massive gains in fuel efficiency and power, the things you are doing have been tried for years and years, trust me I know the gains are none or tiny. I don't want to discourage you keep it up, but start with more knowledge first.
actually thats only half of the boost that it gives you. In actuality if you do this correctly, one can bias the O2 sensor and turn the fuel down to almost zero, depending on production. Hydrogen does burn on its own, It is possible to run an engine completely off of it. I know I'm doing my thesis on it.
Hey don't get me wrong Hydrogen is amazing, but go grab a bottle of it and run an engine 100% on hydrogen using LPG setup (I have done this) the engines goes great without oxygen (HHO) EGT's are fine you can retard the timing to almost 0 TDC, but after we got the engine running correctly as lean as we can we could only get 30 minutes out a large 2000PSI tank. You just cant beat the laws volumes, go measure the flow rate from the alternator style electrolyser :(
That's interesting. However, I am working on a hydrogen reactor to run an engine directly without a storage tank, which is a lot safer than a big tank holding 2000 PSI of hydrogen. I am interested in knowing the physical size of your hydrogen fuel tank to calculate the Cubic Feet per Minute to run your engine for 30 minutes on 100% hydrogen?
I have been wondering what would happen if we ran 100% hydrogen directly into the fuel rail of a fuel intection engine and of course retard the ignition timming?
If you take out the injectors and plug the holes, you can run the HHO straight thru the air intake where it's combusted in the chamber. The injectors aren't made to inject gases (air),only liquids. I have had success on my 300HP go cart out here in the desert of AZ. Haven't tried it on a larger vehicle yet, soon.
My next unit will be even bigger and work even better. There will be more videos and more info. Anyone that has used one knows it works or they have not built it right.
Everyone drives around with an explosive gas and dont think twice about it. When I build my new one your welcome to come and check it out.
you would get even better gas milage if you tuned your car, with say a stand alone fuel mgnt system. But way to much to spend on this car. but congrads , great work
You use your battery to produce hydrogen and oxygen (Browns gas), which is then pumped into the engine (apart from anything else there is not enough to make any difference) where it burns. Your alternator will then put the energy back into the battery by burning more fuel (the alternator is driven by the engine) you get the picture.
Another way of looking at it. Water is hydrogen and oxygen in a low energy state. To increase the energy state, just add electricity. Now you have hydrogen and oxygen. Mix the two together and set fire to it, you get heat but it returns to water because you have removed the energy you put in with the electricity. You will always get less energy out than in.
very simple reset your travel counter to 0 every time you fill up at the gas station on the next fill up look up the millage and pump same amount of gas each time and voila you got your MPG
I had to use this method because my fuel gauge was messed up so I used to go by how many miles I drove till next fill up
Better than 44mpg? Even if he calculated wrong and only got 34mpg its WAY better than stock output.
I dont think people should call this free energy because its not, but if it saves you cash when filling up at the pump who cares what people say? The problem is fuel injection computers override any amount of additional oxygen intake and just add more fuel to achieve 14.7:1 AFR. Learn how to modify the o2 signals and you can increase mpg.
seems to me that you could use home charged batteries in the truck and run a unit from there. how come when you turn it on there is no increase in rpm's
why the heck do you put it on leasad car you do know that you have to return it in the same or better condition and i dont think if you return it with a couple holes in the dash there going to be happy
they would probaly like it better if you brought it back with the hdrogen booster
I am very interested in this technology. Could O2 sensor 'simulators' be used to fix the A/F mixture? And is the HHO readable on a A/F (stoichiometric gauge)?
can you make a video of how to make your hydrogen device thing? if you could do that i could have my dad put that in my explorer.... those things suck gas bad.. i spend so much money on gas and id apreciate the help if you could make that video
I have used Baking Soda for 20000 miles now, with no ill effects to the engine. My unit draws about 5 amps (only) and more than doubled the mpg. Tests reveal NO Toxic wastes or gases.
Basically, you are producing HHO (not Hydrogen by itself), and it gets MIXED with the incoming fuel. This raises the "explosive power" of the fuel, and it does work! I have one on my gas-sucking Dodge Durango - went from 15 mpg to 33 mpg. It's not a Hydrogen fuel cell, but an "electrolyzer" which splits water (H2O) into seperate molecules by means of an electric current. It is NOT about pumping in LOTS of HHO gas, but finding a "balance" of the two fuels. This stuff works great!
Hi, I built a unit a few months back and installed on my 91' chevy cheyenne and have experienced no increase in fuel economy. I am using sea salt and demin water and have built an efie device. Should I save fuel without the efie? Any help would be nice.
another question, could elaborate more on what you believe to be the negative effects of using baking soda? i was under the impression that baking soda was good, and especially better than salt water.
I know that salt water creates Chlorine gas, but I wasn't aware baking soda had any toxic gas products. Within stainless steel electrodes, I wasn't even noticing any precipitates, after a few minutes, honestly.
I don't know where you came up with those ideas, but they are not correct. I use almost 1 teaspoon of pure baking soda per quart of distilled water. Tearing the engine down after 20000 miles demonstrated no ill effects to the engine. Further, I'm very interested in who your chemistry teacher was because baking soda + water + electric current do not equal toxic gasses. How old are you boy?
Well I gave the car back with 31K miles. Thats about 20K miles with no ill effects. Saved lots of gas.. So I guess you can run it with no problems. If you didnt like this video you wont like my new videos with my new car and bigger unit.
Are you running the hh0 cell and petrol at the same time or do you switch the petrol to the engine off. No one tells you this,There never seems to be a fuel pump switch mentioned.
Hate to burst your bubble but.. any of you guys heard of the law of conservation of energy?
Mooreboost: the alternator does not "produce electrical energy". It changes mechanical energy from the engine into electrical energy. There is no magic here.
Hope not too many of you have paid money for this snake oil. The guy selling it ought to be arrested.
You dumbass go build one and blow your face off then tell us its snake oil ya moron . Or maybe just go back to living in your cave and paying with your oil company friends.
You just told me though that it will eventually fuck up the engine right? I can go to my Diesel truck which is a 6.4L Powerstroke, stick my hand on the exhaust (I have stacks), and hold it there, when before if I touched those stacks I'd end up with a 3rd degree burn... I am confused about where you stand. I am for it 100%, but still confused about why it would ruin the engine eventually? It makes the gasoline burn more efficient and it does work.
Confused about baking soda? it will cake up yor intake because it does not stick to your plates it doesn't become part of your electrolyte like Sodium hydroxide or potassium does . Aslo baking soda produces a toxic gas which is also not good for anyone.
First off you dont run off you battery unless the engine is running.2nd you tie to your ignition ON wire With a Relay so when the iginition is cranking the engine it closes and the switch is now tied to the battery. 3rd Baking soda Not bacon , is Toxic it produces carbon monoxide and it does not combine in the catalyst it will break down in the water to make a BRICK of Goo and rune your plates and engine .
just wondering - how does that booster or similar items affect car battery live ,i mean do You have to charge battery every week orso or U don't have to do nothing ?????????
You do nothing when the car is off its off when the car is on its on its only 30 amps max its nothing for a standard alternator to charge the battery while its running.
Are you disagreeing with the fact it saves fuel or saying it doesn't help at all I am confused here. I know I know baking soda whatever, and no I have no goo in my plates.. It works, the hydrogen burns.
No im disagreeing with your statement that you hook up to the fuel pump and you callimg me a dumbass thinking i ran mine direct off the battery all the time .Yes you will soon ahve crap plates and it does work till you kill your self with carbon monoxide and your engine . I seen 1st hand that baking soda kills everything .But im not disagreeing that it saves fuel and does what they say they do if built right. mine does give me a 44% increase and a 53% on highway.
It works and it works great. I know a guy thats been running it for almost 8 months now on his car, and its running great. He hasn't had any issues. I didn't personally set it up myself, I had help setting it up. So I can only go by what I was told. Everyone is so hostile about it though, and acts like it doesn't work, when in fact it does.
yes exactly because they have no clue they think its to RUN a car and its built for a different purpose. So im glad to hear you and your friend believe and use them. They reduce emissions ,better horse power and gas millage.
just wondering - how does that booster or similar items affect car battery live ,i mean do You have to charge battery every week orso or U don't have to do nothing ?????????
For the naysayers that are complaining about the energy required to split the H20, you need to research the workings of a car before you speak. The alternator, which recharges the battery, is turned by the engine ALL THE TIME. Therefor, it is producing electrical energy whether you use it or not. So running an electrolysis apparatus does NOT use more energy than it produces (regardless of whether or not you gain any mileage).
First, if we could tie the output of the hydrogen directly to our throttle somehow would that make it more efficient during idle and acceleration? Secondly, would we get way better mpg if we had one unit working directly for each side of the intake manifold as opposed to just one unit regardless of the number of cylinders? You know how there are two intake manifolds for a 6 or 8 cylinder...OR, a one unit per cylinder setup? In this case a 6 cylinder car would have 6 small units.
I have a 1986 GMC C-60 with a 366 V8, essentially a small bore 427. I will be making 6 HHO fuel cells for my 10 ton ramp truck. I get unloaded 13 MPG on the road, est between 45-50 MPH. I was told with 6 cells I could get close to 30 MPG, well see. It has a four barrel carb, no electronics.
Physics is basing in observation in every matter of this world but the old physics have not yet observed all the matters. Just like the reaction of every matter when it is being charged or mixed with other matters. If you are making something don't rely on laws in physics because it is made by old poeple according their obsevations. Don't be fooled by their closed minds. Make your own laws by your own observation and it matters. Please think use your brain ,don't rely on old fool's brain.
Hard Q's,,Yeah that's a tough one. But it has a very simple answer the energy that splits the water came from the battery and the battery is being charged by the alternator. Do you still believe that old book. The law of physics is a very old law that needs to be amended. The only constant in our world is constant change. There are debates about changing the law of physics. There are new laws that may supercede the old laws and that includes law of physics might be superceded.
Alright for the last time: HHO works not because of the "new" energy you are creating but because it allows for the more complete combustion of the existing fuel. Most internal combustion motors have a fuel-burn efficiency of about 40-50%. Adding HHO is just like adding NOS (nitrous oxide), the volatile gaseous mixture increases the burn rate which allows you to burn less fuel more rapidly. This isn't snake oil. It really does work.
Man so so much BS coming from a guy who has no clue what is realy happening here. The little extra 20 amps off the battery is NOTHING compared to the Gain in Gas millage you get off it and the WHOLE 1$ every 2-3 weeks you spend on distilled water is also NOTHING compared to saving 2$Per gallon of gas ya save so where the HARM ..PROVE its not Worth it Or STFU>
you fix the problem by installing O2 extenders they get the O2 sensor out of your exhaust hydrogen burns at 1100 degrees gas burns at 400 so most of it ends up in your muffler. Hydrogen burns so clean that the O2 sensor reads it as oxygen and pumps out more fuel to keep the right air/fuel ratio.
Gday Ryan, interesting to hear you thoughts on the mixture and burnt valve problems. Where have you found out about this, and what can be done about this problem/oppurtunity? The heads have been off my vehicle and all the associated costs to get it back in running shape make it a rather expensive exercise. Where have you heard about these problems, and has a solution been found yet, (apart from only using fuel), one or a group of us will surely get this to work cost effectiveley, Regards,Colin
Nice vid The neg / pos leads will melt if the amperage is steady at 25 or 30 amps. An inline amp meter hooked in series, ie disconnect the lead to the generator, run it to one side of the amp meter and on the other side of the amp meter run a wire back to the positive side of the generator. This will let you to see the amperage and if you had a PWM you would be able to turn the dial to reduce or increase amperage. Please give me your thoughts on this & how do you cntrl amperage.
this is amazing. few questions. how much did your supplies cost all together? how much time did you put into setting this up? how dangerous is this process? and do you put the water directly into the gas tank?
Its not dangerous at all Its been a lot of trial and Error. Its over $100 in supplies and lots of time. The water goes into the unit and not in the tank. Water in the gas tank is not a good idea at all. ;o) I have one listed on ebay that is completed
Your taking a huge gamble running this cell without a bubbler protection from a flareback explosion... That will definitely void your lease... The "condensation" your seeing is more likely hydoxy fluid being sucked out of your cell.. Good Luck..
also, vehicle behaves funny between open and closed loop. This EFIE I got has a knob for adjusting the voltage added into the o2 sensor circuit running into the ecu. The thing that throws off my ecu is because, my o2 sensor in closed loop switch 2-3 times per second in detected values; whereas measured from aft my EFIE, the correction is not in that type of frequency... So my search goes on for another EFIE, ..unless I want to run lean and burn some exhaust valves, my hho will have to come off
It's midnight here in jp the just show on the japanese television a car running exclusively on water. This follows another news in the US about a car running 80% on water and 20 per cent gazoline with the possibility of 100 per cent water. Something moving worldwide.
Hi, How do you get around the computer on your car, I live in Australia and have a new Toyota Rav4 Ive read a lot about the oxygen sensors and is it a major thing to bypass it this is my first time on utube so i hope this works
Oxygen Sensor extender.. You can get these on ebay. It will move the oxygen sensor out of the path of the Oxygen so the computer will learn and adapt.
Sensor extender work for some vehicle; It didn't work for my Tacoma. Check engine light came on with OBD II code "too lean". My ecu tried to adapt, but its too smart..lol. It thinks "well, its too lean, let make it more rich"/ so my fuel mileage went down before I had hho installed. I then went with an EFIE( electronic fuel injection enhancer, or o2 sensor modifier) a gadget which modifies the o2 sensor value output to the ecu. It worked so so, until another code came up/ o2 sensor lazy..
bro. So what was your mpg for city and hwy before and what are they now. I am about to make the step to buy this technology but I want to know for sure if it works well. Which site did you buy your instructions from?
I got 28MPG highway before and now 44MPG highway after. I designed this unit and just came out with an even better design that I listed on ebay for sale.
so, how long does that one cell last? i'm confused ... do you have to actually put the hydrogen into it? and where do you get it from? you have a water to hydrogen converter of your own?
I'm new to the HHO generator technology, but I've heard about the need for a MAP sensor enhancer? What is your feeling about the need for a Map Sensor enhancer?
hi bro i saw ur video i got a queation 4 u what dio u did 2 connect the hydrogen fuel to the carborator and what do u do 2 cut off the supply of gasoline from ur tank an using an process of eletrolysis when the reaction occures does stain less steel change into anothe form or it dissolve or some thing and u what do u do 4 water supply when it changes 2 hydrogen
All cars unless it's designed and sold as a "High Milage" Vehicle average 300 to 350 miles per tank. A 4 cylinder with a 12 gallon tank, or a 8 cylinder with a 25 gallon tank, both average 300 miles per tank. This guy says he's around 600 miles so far, which means he's doubling his MPG per tank. Awesome!!
Using a 30 amp inline fuse that doesn't blow means this unit is using 25amps or less at peak. My amplifier uses more energy than this thing and doesn't save me any money. Good Job!
Its adding hydrogen VAPOR to the combustion chamber. The electric load this places on the alternator can be varied by a variable output module, making it possible to get more energy out than you put in since electrolysis (the process through which water is turned into 'brown' gas) requires relatively small amounts of electricity to occur.
I hate to say it, but this idea is ill conceived. The alternator will put more drag on the belt than the hydrogen could ever produce. Do the research if you don't believe me. I regret calling him a liar, but it's either this guy or the laws of thermodynamics. He is using the direct energy output, rather than byproducts of it's inefficiency such as a turbocharger. This will make your car slower and less fuel efficient. And quite honestly, is the dumbest thing I have heard in a while.
tigro is he replacing petrol with hydrogen & oxygen gas? no. Is he adding hydrogen oxygen gas to the petrol? yes. Would hydrogen oxygen gas aid the petrol burn efficiency? Would an efficient burn also aid the thermodynamic efficiency of a combustion engine? If those 2 ? R correct. What now is the equation?
ur missing the point, hydrogen boost systems arent for the energy from burning the hydrogen, but to help burn all the fuel and thus making the engine more efficient, it is a well known fact that the combustion in engines does not go to completion
I agree with you when you say it helps the fuel burn but hydrogen itself is combustible and is burned as a fuel thus you will draw less gasoline. That being said this is not rocket science, it works and works well. I hope more people try this for themselves.
Nice...very very nice! So you got an approx 63% increase on highway fuel economy. What about city? How often do you refill the container with water? Since the hydrogen and oxygen molecules aren't adequately separated after the cell what keeps the oxidization of those elements from turning back into water inside your engine?
If our problem is the O2, why not tell the manufacturers to go back to CARBURETORS.All these water burning hybrid will work only I mean only in carbureted fuel system. It doesn't and never work on electronic injected system.Let,s go back to carburetors.
I need the plans! Patent this shit now or start selling the plans to someone. PEOPLE WILL BUY THIS!! Don't do this soley for money. Do it so our gas prices go down. Do it so oil companies will get a clue and stop skrewing its customers. This should have been standard equipment decades ago. Very cool design, but you need to start selling this NOW!!! PLEASE! THIS NEEDS TO MASS PRODUCED OR PASS THE PLANS OUT FOR 100 BUCKS A COPY. I'LL BE THE FIRST CUSTOMER. I'm serious dude.
hho-hybrid . com sell plans to a better design for only $19.95 check out "amazinghybrid" video he claims a double MPG increase for highway in his dodge stealth... I bought plans but haven't got the unit together yet... very cool.
hey Mixcatcom. Thank for your work and vid. I'm curious about a few things. How does your setup actually help a gas engine? Does it affect the fuel? Or does it just remove some of the strain from the alternator?
Nice setup! Really it looks pretty neat and tidy. @ everyone who is asking about the 02 sensor, there is no reason for the O2 sesnor to be replaced, it only critisizes the efficiency of the burn. If your lean, more O2 is in the exhaust, rich, less O2. By adding the Hydrogen, you are in turn richening the fuel mixture. the O2 sensor will read it is rich, and trim the pulse widths back until its Stoichiometric. I might go ahead and see if I can make one of these to test on my Ranger ;)
although what you says is true about the o2 sensor and how it works the problem is the units produce oxygen as well and it is this extra oxygen that the sensor reads as lean air/fuel mix. people i know just disconnect o2 sensor and apparently default setting is lean which is what you want!!
Actually, the default tables are rich. Due to the fact of lean burn is a hot burn, which can melt your exhaust valves. Its always better to be rich, than it is lean. Cars run rich until achieving closed loop, then they fluxuate between rich and lean to try and stay at a 14.7:1 Air/fuel Ratio. So disconnecting the O2 sensor kinda defeats the purpose don't it?
Usually O2 sensors don't go bad unless there is another problem causing fouled exhaust. Now, I say "USUALLY" its not always the case! If it was running lean, it was probably due to clogged fuel injectors so the computer thought it was running it rich but not the right amount of fuel was passing the pintle, making it lean, but without the O2 sensor, it thought it was rich because of the other conditions (TPS, MAF, MAP, ETC).
This is a nice, clean set up. I like how you've eliminated the "bubbler". How long is the tube itself and what did you use for the materials inside? Looked like (approx) 4" pvc pipe? Also, what was the purpose of the metal bolt on top?
For the peanut gallery...some of your responses are a joke. Everything you turn on took a certain amount of risk initially. Deal with it or if you're that scared why don't you type in Winnie the Pooh and stay there for a while.
The o2 sensors will adjust the AFR depending on the oxygen levels in the combusted exhaust gas, in an effort to achieve lambda1 when on closed loop operation. Note that the closed loop system is reactionary, so the motor has to burn fuel momentarily at the wrong mixture before it gets corrected by altering the trims.
Modern mapping with most manufacturers can get very close to between lambda 0.95 > 1.05 and gets trimmed from there.
When in open loop, the ECU will render injection pulsewidth according to OEM maps to achieve usually lambda 0.9, with no compensation for extra fuel being inducted from anywhere else.
Hope this helps.

So you're just adding hydrogen to your combustion engine? No wonder you're seeing an improvement in mileage, you're not using as much gas! Just curious, how much power are you using to generate all that hydrogen? Also, how are you storing it?
Explain something: Water goes in at room temp and comes out super-heated steam. HOw do you achieve that without input energy? PLUS you claim to get kinetic energy as well. Its thermodynamically impossible.
Focist911 is making a good point, how do you know the energy output is greater then the energy input? He would get a better energy in : energy out ratio if he converted some of his gasoline to hydrogen. Beth also is right, this system would keep running even in an accident. This issue needs to be addressed or he could injur nearby people if in an accident.

ya i have to agree with blur here your using power from your engine to spin the alternator (there is some loss of energy there). then using that electricity to conduct electrolysis (which also isn't entirely efficient) thus losing efficiency.

I make my fuel on demand and dont store it.
Its just over 2 liters per minute.
I need to get back on this project as I have a lot of variations I need to try.

I have been wondering what would happen if we ran 100% hydrogen directly into the fuel rail of a fuel intection engine and of course retard the ignition timming?
-David
DavidASmith72 2 years ago
If you take out the injectors and plug the holes, you can run the HHO straight thru the air intake where it's combusted in the chamber. The injectors aren't made to inject gases (air),only liquids. I have had success on my 300HP go cart out here in the desert of AZ. Haven't tried it on a larger vehicle yet, soon.
soldieroffortune1974 2 years ago
it is 100% easy to run a car of hydrogen... just stick the hydrogen hose from a cylinder into the carb, and presto!....
it is although impossible to make enough hydrogen to run a car from an inboard generator....

you would get even better gas milage if you tuned your car, with say a stand alone fuel mgnt system. But way to much to spend on this car. but congrads , great work
12only1 3 years ago
Part 2:
You use your battery to produce hydrogen and oxygen (Browns gas), which is then pumped into the engine (apart from anything else there is not enough to make any difference) where it burns. Your alternator will then put the energy back into the battery by burning more fuel (the alternator is driven by the engine) you get the picture.
tiscalisucks 3 years ago
Another way of looking at it. Water is hydrogen and oxygen in a low energy state. To increase the energy state, just add electricity. Now you have hydrogen and oxygen. Mix the two together and set fire to it, you get heat but it returns to water because you have removed the energy you put in with the electricity. You will always get less energy out than in.
tiscalisucks 3 years ago
Going from 28 mpg to 44 mpg sounds good to me. The person who made this video has no reason to lie.
kaduisaui 3 years ago
Can you tell me how you measured your mpg
tiscalisucks 3 years ago
Yes, please inform us of how you did the calculations before and after installation of the H2 component.
slinkee2k 3 years ago
very simple reset your travel counter to 0 every time you fill up at the gas station on the next fill up look up the millage and pump same amount of gas each time and voila you got your MPG
I had to use this method because my fuel gauge was messed up so I used to go by how many miles I drove till next fill up

Down the bottom of my garden we have several leprechaun.
I am devising an engine to run on leprechaun shit. I recon that it will be more efficient
than any of these half brained hydrogen systems you find on youtube.
tiscalisucks 3 years ago
Better than 44mpg? Even if he calculated wrong and only got 34mpg its WAY better than stock output.
I dont think people should call this free energy because its not, but if it saves you cash when filling up at the pump who cares what people say? The problem is fuel injection computers override any amount of additional oxygen intake and just add more fuel to achieve 14.7:1 AFR. Learn how to modify the o2 signals and you can increase mpg.

Is hydrogen and fuel used in the same time? or one at the time?
Scoopy4444 3 years ago
Basically, you are producing HHO (not Hydrogen by itself), and it gets MIXED with the incoming fuel. This raises the "explosive power" of the fuel, and it does work! I have one on my gas-sucking Dodge Durango - went from 15 mpg to 33 mpg. It's not a Hydrogen fuel cell, but an "electrolyzer" which splits water (H2O) into seperate molecules by means of an electric current. It is NOT about pumping in LOTS of HHO gas, but finding a "balance" of the two fuels. This stuff works great!
fjbirdman 3 years ago
Hi, I built a unit a few months back and installed on my 91' chevy cheyenne and have experienced no increase in fuel economy. I am using sea salt and demin water and have built an efie device. Should I save fuel without the efie? Any help would be nice.

naazrael 3 years ago
Use less electrolyte instead of 1 teaspoon per gallon use 1/2 and work your way up form there.
Vistal1 3 years ago
oh, wow. okay, thank you, sir.
another question, could elaborate more on what you believe to be the negative effects of using baking soda? i was under the impression that baking soda was good, and especially better than salt water.
naazrael 3 years ago
Unfortunately, baking soda and salt are
not good catalysts. During electrolysis, they break down and combine with hydrogen and
oxygen and form toxic gases that can injure you as well as your engine. Chlorine gas is
one of those fun byproducts - very toxic. More sludge precipitates out of the solution. SS
electrodes can be completely dissolved in a matter of hours - destroying your cells.
Vistal1 3 years ago
I know that salt water creates Chlorine gas, but I wasn't aware baking soda had any toxic gas products. Within stainless steel electrodes, I wasn't even noticing any precipitates, after a few minutes, honestly.
naazrael 3 years ago
I don't know where you came up with those ideas, but they are not correct. I use almost 1 teaspoon of pure baking soda per quart of distilled water. Tearing the engine down after 20000 miles demonstrated no ill effects to the engine. Further, I'm very interested in who your chemistry teacher was because baking soda + water + electric current do not equal toxic gasses. How old are you boy?
fjbirdman 3 years ago

You dumbass go build one and blow your face off then tell us its snake oil ya moron . Or maybe just go back to living in your cave and paying with your oil company friends.
Vistal1 3 years ago
You just told me though that it will eventually fuck up the engine right? I can go to my Diesel truck which is a 6.4L Powerstroke, stick my hand on the exhaust (I have stacks), and hold it there, when before if I touched those stacks I'd end up with a 3rd degree burn... I am confused about where you stand. I am for it 100%, but still confused about why it would ruin the engine eventually? It makes the gasoline burn more efficient and it does work.
lizard2006 3 years ago
Confused about baking soda? it will cake up yor intake because it does not stick to your plates it doesn't become part of your electrolyte like Sodium hydroxide or potassium does . Aslo baking soda produces a toxic gas which is also not good for anyone.
Vistal1 3 years ago
So you're saying use something besides baking soda, rather then using it use sodium hydroxide?
lizard2006 3 years ago
Both work. I have even run them off tap water.
mixcatcom 3 years ago
First off you dont run off you battery unless the engine is running.2nd you tie to your ignition ON wire With a Relay so when the iginition is cranking the engine it closes and the switch is now tied to the battery. 3rd Baking soda Not bacon , is Toxic it produces carbon monoxide and it does not combine in the catalyst it will break down in the water to make a BRICK of Goo and rune your plates and engine .
Vistal1 3 years ago
just wondering - how does that booster or similar items affect car battery live ,i mean do You have to charge battery every week orso or U don't have to do nothing ?????????
max1ous 3 years ago
You do nothing when the car is off its off when the car is on its on its only 30 amps max its nothing for a standard alternator to charge the battery while its running.
Vistal1 3 years ago
Are you disagreeing with the fact it saves fuel or saying it doesn't help at all I am confused here. I know I know baking soda whatever, and no I have no goo in my plates.. It works, the hydrogen burns.
lizard2006 3 years ago
No im disagreeing with your statement that you hook up to the fuel pump and you callimg me a dumbass thinking i ran mine direct off the battery all the time .Yes you will soon ahve crap plates and it does work till you kill your self with carbon monoxide and your engine . I seen 1st hand that baking soda kills everything .But im not disagreeing that it saves fuel and does what they say they do if built right. mine does give me a 44% increase and a 53% on highway.
Vistal1 3 years ago
It works and it works great. I know a guy thats been running it for almost 8 months now on his car, and its running great. He hasn't had any issues. I didn't personally set it up myself, I had help setting it up. So I can only go by what I was told. Everyone is so hostile about it though, and acts like it doesn't work, when in fact it does.
lizard2006 3 years ago
yes exactly because they have no clue they think its to RUN a car and its built for a different purpose. So im glad to hear you and your friend believe and use them. They reduce emissions ,better horse power and gas millage.
Vistal1 3 years ago
just wondering - how does that booster or similar items affect car battery live ,i mean do You have to charge battery every week orso or U don't have to do nothing ?????????
max1ous 3 years ago
I hear a detonation in your engine. You need to correct ignition angle or engine will die..
AlexanderA80 3 years ago
For the naysayers that are complaining about the energy required to split the H20, you need to research the workings of a car before you speak. The alternator, which recharges the battery, is turned by the engine ALL THE TIME. Therefor, it is producing electrical energy whether you use it or not. So running an electrolysis apparatus does NOT use more energy than it produces (regardless of whether or not you gain any mileage).
mooreboost 3 years ago
First, if we could tie the output of the hydrogen directly to our throttle somehow would that make it more efficient during idle and acceleration? Secondly, would we get way better mpg if we had one unit working directly for each side of the intake manifold as opposed to just one unit regardless of the number of cylinders? You know how there are two intake manifolds for a 6 or 8 cylinder...OR, a one unit per cylinder setup? In this case a 6 cylinder car would have 6 small units.

A flip switch, a light, a relay??!!
WOW! What a unit.
Seriously,
Are you THAT gullible?
Hard Q's.. Where does the energy that splits the H2O to provide the H2 that then 'improves' the fuel economy come from?
(if you have an answer you trust, please read a basic physics text)
This is complete, pure, and utter BS.
Forget it and buy a bike!
uuvvbb 3 years ago
How about you actually take the time to understand what you are talking about before you open that stupid pie hole.
amluving 3 years ago
Hard Q's,,Yeah that's a tough one. But it has a very simple answer the energy that splits the water came from the battery and the battery is being charged by the alternator. Do you still believe that old book. The law of physics is a very old law that needs to be amended. The only constant in our world is constant change. There are debates about changing the law of physics. There are new laws that may supercede the old laws and that includes law of physics might be superceded.
raininghards 3 years ago
Alright for the last time: HHO works not because of the "new" energy you are creating but because it allows for the more complete combustion of the existing fuel. Most internal combustion motors have a fuel-burn efficiency of about 40-50%. Adding HHO is just like adding NOS (nitrous oxide), the volatile gaseous mixture increases the burn rate which allows you to burn less fuel more rapidly. This isn't snake oil. It really does work.
jimmyturismo 3 years ago
Man so so much BS coming from a guy who has no clue what is realy happening here. The little extra 20 amps off the battery is NOTHING compared to the Gain in Gas millage you get off it and the WHOLE 1$ every 2-3 weeks you spend on distilled water is also NOTHING compared to saving 2$Per gallon of gas ya save so where the HARM ..PROVE its not Worth it Or STFU>
Vistal1 3 years ago
you fix the problem by installing O2 extenders they get the O2 sensor out of your exhaust hydrogen burns at 1100 degrees gas burns at 400 so most of it ends up in your muffler. Hydrogen burns so clean that the O2 sensor reads it as oxygen and pumps out more fuel to keep the right air/fuel ratio.
teresatoneytm 3 years ago

Please give me your thoughts on this & how do you cntrl amperage.

also, vehicle behaves funny between open and closed loop.

Awesome!!
expert1221 3 years ago
Using a 30 amp inline fuse that doesn't blow means this unit is using 25amps or less at peak. My amplifier uses more energy than this thing and doesn't save me any money. Good Job!
expert1221 3 years ago
Its adding hydrogen VAPOR to the combustion chamber. The electric load this places on the alternator can be varied by a variable output module, making it possible to get more energy out than you put in since electrolysis (the process through which water is turned into 'brown' gas) requires relatively small amounts of electricity to occur.
lSd3d 3 years ago
I hate to say it, but this idea is ill conceived. The alternator will put more drag on the belt than the hydrogen could ever produce. Do the research if you don't believe me. I regret calling him a liar, but it's either this guy or the laws of thermodynamics. He is using the direct energy output, rather than byproducts of it's inefficiency such as a turbocharger. This will make your car slower and less fuel efficient. And quite honestly, is the dumbest thing I have heard in a while.
tigro8427 3 years ago
tigro is he replacing petrol with hydrogen & oxygen gas? no. Is he adding hydrogen oxygen gas to the petrol? yes. Would hydrogen oxygen gas aid the petrol burn efficiency? Would an efficient burn also aid the thermodynamic efficiency of a combustion engine? If those 2 ? R correct. What now is the equation?
nolelox 3 years ago 3
ur missing the point, hydrogen boost systems arent for the energy from burning the hydrogen, but to help burn all the fuel and thus making the engine more efficient, it is a well known fact that the combustion in engines does not go to completion
heemlo 3 years ago
I agree with you when you say it helps the fuel burn but hydrogen itself is combustible and is burned as a fuel thus you will draw less gasoline. That being said this is not rocket science, it works and works well. I hope more people try this for themselves.
have a great night.
-Pete

Nice...very very nice! So you got an approx 63% increase on highway fuel economy. What about city? How often do you refill the container with water? Since the hydrogen and oxygen molecules aren't adequately separated after the cell what keeps the oxidization of those elements from turning back into water inside your engine?
p1zl3 3 years ago
the hydrogen is also burning, that is what makes the gasoline burn more completely, no?

I might go ahead and see if I can make one of these to test on my Ranger ;)

although what you says is true about the o2 sensor and how it works the problem is the units produce oxygen as well and it is this extra oxygen that the sensor reads as lean air/fuel mix. people i know just disconnect o2 sensor and apparently default setting is lean which is what you want!!
blahvidblah 3 years ago
Actually, the default tables are rich. Due to the fact of lean burn is a hot burn, which can melt your exhaust valves. Its always better to be rich, than it is lean. Cars run rich until achieving closed loop, then they fluxuate between rich and lean to try and stay at a 14.7:1 Air/fuel Ratio. So disconnecting the O2 sensor kinda defeats the purpose don't it?

Thanks RM2, I'll have to look into further, I know when one friend O2 sensor died his car was running real lean!?!
blahvidblah 3 years ago
Usually O2 sensors don't go bad unless there is another problem causing fouled exhaust. Now, I say "USUALLY" its not always the case! If it was running lean, it was probably due to clogged fuel injectors so the computer thought it was running it rich but not the right amount of fuel was passing the pintle, making it lean, but without the O2 sensor, it thought it was rich because of the other conditions (TPS, MAF, MAP, ETC).

hey mixcatcom great video!! are you using a flash back system? you should. and did you change co2 sensor.
raist101 3 years ago
Not sure,if you have one but you should make sure you have a bubbler on that unit

07 milan, So is the O2 Sensor thing an issue? Im not sure how much they would actually help anyhow. the 02 being produced is so minimal.
YiuTeub 3 years ago
Very nice setup! Are you using an inline flashback arrestor in place of a bubbler? Nice work!
madscientist67 3 years ago
This is a nice, clean set up. I like how you've eliminated the "bubbler". How long is the tube itself and what did you use for the materials inside? Looked like (approx) 4" pvc pipe? Also, what was the purpose of the metal bolt on top?
For the peanut gallery...some of your responses are a joke. Everything you turn on took a certain amount of risk initially. Deal with it or if you're that scared why don't you type in Winnie the Pooh and stay there for a while.

Where are you located or do you know anyone near the central Minnesota area that we could meet/talk with?

but the combustion of idrogen doesn create water? is not dangerous for the engine ?

Also, how are you storing it?
eaglerod444 3 years ago
Is this a five plate setup as well?
Have you measured the output (LPM)?
Does the water get hot?
adrian1167 4 years ago
a problem with switchin a gasoline to hydrogen engine is the ignition timing. since hydrogen is a much faster burning fuel.

Great job and amazing results, keep going we're on the right track!

Explain something: Water goes in at room temp and comes out super-heated steam. HOw do you achieve that without input energy? PLUS you claim to get kinetic energy as well. Its thermodynamically impossible.
Focoist911 3 years ago
Focist911 is making a good point, how do you know the energy output is greater then the energy input? He would get a better energy in : energy out ratio if he converted some of his gasoline to hydrogen. Beth also is right, this system would keep running even in an accident. This issue needs to be addressed or he could injur nearby people if in an accident.
