1) How is a 501c3 organization allowed to be involved in a political campaign?

2) What does "Uhuru" think of the candidate that they're supporting, Jane Brunner, adopting Pat's policy of more police?

3) Why is it that an organization supporting African American casues are trying to deface / discredit African American politicians on a local and national level?

Wonder why it has taken the Uhuru Movement's pressure for McCullough to actually go sit down and construct his version of the events of 2005 for potential voters?! Because he is wrong for shooting the kid! When we talk to people on the street, they say, "Oh that's THAT guy? Don't worry, I'm not voting for him." I know McCullough has a following among real estate people, accountants, police people but not regular people who would like to see the whole community prosper. He will be defeated!

You're right, Patrick, those people are nuts. Uhuru is nuts. They are acting as Brunner's main attack dogs in this election, and she won't speak out against them even though they are nuts.

this is good--more voters in district one (north oakland) need to see this, as an example of what a doing-something activist representative could do to spruce up district 1! this is the can-do energy we need, a FULL-TIME councilmember who takes action and doesn't make EXCUSES.
