it can only work, infamous 3 if you start off on level 1 evil and decide to be good or bad, coz of the bad ending :( but i have completed this game 3 times in 2 weeks coz i love this more than the first 1, nearly got all trophies and it is my favourite game ever, with the best story line ever!!!! dont finish infamous, i got the first 1 in a bundle which came with my ps3 so it's my life lol

Mind you, I'd love a third game. I think they could make it work with either ending. They could either follow Cole again with perhaps two different versions (inFAMOUS 3: Good Version/Evil Version kind of thing) or they could follow the story of an entirely different conduit. The lightning at the end brings him back to life, which is why there is infimous f.o.b., but if there was a infamous 3 then going back as kessler would be a great storyline. However, it would be just as good to end it where it is. I'm happy either way.

Maybe in infamous 3 (if there is one which is doubtful) it could continue from the bad ending but something goes wrong and he has to travel back in time and do some Kessler style missions, changing the future

@J4SNT even so it still wouldn't work, sucker punch made the endings for the 1st infamous so no matter which you chose it didn't conflict with the main story of infamous 2, other than how civilians reacted e.g. when cole runs to the beast at the very beginning the crowd reacts differently based on karma thing chose. same with one of the side quests. adding another infamous game would need a new protagonist or kessler's story

you are aware that there is no way to make a game off the good ending cole and all conduates died the rayspere radiation disapeared from the world no plague no conduates no way to make conduates the end. the onlty way is for you to go with the evil ending and travel the world finding conduates killing humans and mabie have some total takover of the beast and some timetraviling but there is no way to make a compelling game

Good Cole is obviously Kessler, so... in Kessler's timeline, the Beast seemed to have popped up out of no where, as well. This is where Good Cole/Kessler would've had the chance to fight the Beast/Himself, or run and watch the world go to hell trying to protect his family. Obviously, Cole will fight the Beast in this new timeline, since he has no family and didn't get married to Trish.

The lightning strike at the Hero ending of inFamous 2 forms a question mark. So that tells me Cole comes back to life when it strikes the boat.

This game is simply beyond awesome, not because of the gameplay, for while the gameplay was incredible in it's own right, what truly made it memorable, was the incredible emotion it managed to invoke in me.

This is one of the only games ever which made me shed a tear or two at the end.

And this applies to both the good ending AND the evil one, which puts it at the very top, as no other game ever have made me shed a tear more than once.

I also don't want a story that picks up from the evil ending as I don't think it could make for a good plot, seeing as he wiped out all non-conduits.
