In Balikesir , Turkiye , I saw alot of passenger trains with DE 22000 locomotives (% 100 the same of this SZ 664 class locomotives) In the idle , none of our DE 22000 s made this noise. , because , our passenger trains have a generator wagon behind tfhe locomotive , and the requirement of electricity of the passenger cars is provided from the generator car. This SZ 664 passenger train has no generator wagon , so the locomotive forces itself to produce more electricity for the 2 wagons
