  • G protein-coupled receptors is so gangsta

  • not a a more satisfying feeling than finding a video on youtube and save 30minutes of fucking reading 15 lecture slides

  • This is like reading a my 10 pages of small text in my Anatomy Textbook in 3 minutes and 10 seconds. thank you for making my life easier.

  • AHHHH!!!!!!!

  • aw.... I have a question. can g proein be stimulatory or inhibitory?????? and when is GTPase used????

  • @hoaa88 yes it can be stimulatory (Gas), or inhibitory (Gai)

    always is used Gtp ase

  • this video is awesome... finally something explains that GDP isn't phosphorylated but is replaced by GTP

  • what just happened? i am so screwed

  • THAT WAS HELPFUL, mkayyyy?

  • @narutofan479 lmao i been stressin all day over this exam..i needed something to laugh about

  • damn nature, you difficult.

  • Narrator has a clear sexy voice...

  • Shiiiiiit. I'm so fucked for the exam T_T

  • Who ever said biology was a 'thinking' science. Even at high level courses, it all comes down to rote learning pathways and using the short term memory to cram. Physics and maths FTW!

  • 1 person thinks this stuff is too easy

  • TOO MANY PROTEINS DAMMIT

  • great video.....

  • What nonsense... why do humans have to memorize this crap... we wrote it in books... isnt that enough :(

  • Ahhh, I don't understand Glycosylation in the ER but can't find a video!

  • Yeah, take the GTP you dirty protein.

  • yeah its all abt memorizing it for an exam...:))

  • i like understanding things, not memorizing. i don't really like molecular biology, macrobiology is more interesting

  • great lecture, thanks!

  • this is why i hate biology; it has annoying bullshit like this

  • god damn, nature really knows how to complicate stuff

  • semplice, ma elegante

  • presentazione eccellente.continuate cosi!

  • ok i knew this because my prof. explained it quite good, but this is definately a good repetition for my exam tomorrow^^

  • The last min will do for the extra reading section of my undergrad exam...

  • This video is sooo much better than than the greek n latin stuff given in books...thanks a lot!

  • kia bawas hai kch samajh nahi ayi

  • Simple graphics, but great info! This is a great overview of G-protein complexes and the production of GTP- an excellent addition for any cellular biology class!

  • clicking on these videos till 10 am tmwr morning for my final, instead of watching the TOURIST with my girlfriend. I hate my life.

  • thanks for the vid - I dont know why they need to overcomplicate things so much in papers and books! Finding a simple explanation and pic is so hard to find these days! So thanks v much for uploading this!!! V helpful

  • sooooooooooooooooooooooooo helpful!!!

  • Thanks for this video, needed this to understand some stuff in biopsychology :)

  • Wow fantastic video :D Thanks for posting

  • excellent I will be able to remember this clearly for my exam; it takes hours reading the books. This makes it clear. As in someone's else's comment I'll add that the narrator has a good voice. Thankk you

  • that just saved me 20 minutes trying to read through this process.

  • Great video, it's so much easier to understand this process when visually presented!

One note is that I know RGS as GAP (GTPase activating protein).

  • Wohaw! Great video!

Impossible to comprehend it in first view, but that's the beauty of watching it on youtube (rather than at school or TV), you can REWIND! :D

    Thanks a lot!

  • awesome vid, very helpful but i need to watch it like 20 times to fully comprehand it lol

  • i've had my cell structure and fuction exam three times with three failures the only exam i've ever failed and in the 3min video you've explained this better than my teacher could ever have done

  • just amazing video

  • In this case yes, the effector is the target protein but the efffector when activated can produce second messengers such as cAMP, which can further relay the signal.

  • This is from my Cell Bio book CD! they have great explanations and this is one of them great video

  • thanks!! amazing!!

  • this is great video!! Very clearly explained and displayed...Outstanding.

  • this was very clear and explained step-by-step :) one of the best vids about g-proteins that i could find. thank you for posting this.

  • Thanks it is very helpful.

  • Hello.

This video is extremely well done! Is it possible to use download it and use it for courses or seminars? by, of course, respecting, the copyrights.
