  • I just got my starter kit for MK. I haven't even opened it yet. Because of my recruiter, my high went to a low very quick. I thought your recruiter supposed to come to you not you to them. The whole process is confusing to me, I also have a few other concerns as well.

  • @dancob43 I am with Mk also and I have a nice relationship with my recruiter... I encourage you to look for your director in your area and talk to her, she will help you to get better.... Dont worry.... just think outside the box and look for answers... and have fun meeting people

  • I am a beginner at mary kay beauty consultant, help me out boost my catalog...

  • my mom's a consultant

  • Mary Kay products are great. I love all of them. Yes, I am a Consultant, but I'm not biased. I couldn't and wouldn't sell something I wouldn't personally back. They have different skin care for different skin types which is great too! Is it overpriced? Well, you get what you pay for. It's more expensive than going to Walmart, but you don't get really good skin care lines there. Not saying they are all bad, but they're not department store quality.

  • im a MK consultant and woow i can say that people are so diferent! some just dont understand that everyone needs to take care of their skin and others are willing to hear! thats when you have to change tactics!

    great info!

  • @mumi2485 are you making any money doing it? i just had a mary kay facial from a wonderful consultant and i have been interested in selling myself but wonder if i should leave my job at walmart to do it

  • @boucher21 I wouldn't suggest that you leave your job just yet. When trying a business you want to feel it out first. Start selling Mary Kay on the side to see if it's really something you like to do and learn about the business. Use some money from your Walmart job to buy products, business cards, etc. for the business. Always make sure you have money saved to fall back on before quitting any job. At least 3-4 months the cost of your rent or house payment.

  • I would purchase the starter kit and start slow. Keep your job while you are testing out the business. Mary Kay has a by back program if you feel it's not for you. I would give it a try though, it's a lot of fun. You can earn prizes, cars and trips. You also make a lot of new friends. Make sure you join a good team with lots of support. It's well worth it...

  • You have to use the cleanser as well to clean the pores. Also, you need to have the moisturizer for cobo/oliy skin. I am a Mary Kay Rep. If you are interested in the moisturizer or any of our other wonderful products at a 25% discount. Email me at BeautybyCarrie@aol.com.

  • I won a make-over from Mary Kay from a wedding drawing and it actually took place today. It was really amazing and so much fun, and she explained to me about the company and it's benefits and I am really really interested in getting into this business. I will be sure to watch all of your videos before I do so, because you seem to know what you're doing! Thank you so much!

  • Honey, no one in my neighborhood in Texas wants Mary Kay Cosmetics, because it is overpriced !

  • @LoveAllKindsOfMusic1 The prices are actually very reasonable. High quality products for a cheap price. I love it.

  • @LoveAllKindsOfMusic1 Actually if you compare products that are similar in quality, the price is really good. I used to think MK was too expensive until I stopped comparing with CoverGirl and Maybelline and compared them to dept. store pricing. Even the top of the line Oil of Olay products are spendier than Mary Kay.

  • Yeah!!! If you buy the timewise moisturizer it's a huge $4.00 to $5.00 a month! Plus it really works and if you decide you don't like it, Mary Kay company will replace it or refund your money, no questions asked. Wouldn't want to deal with a company like that....LOL

  • thats was great will be checkin up on it
