Katherine makes you melt probably because you're WATCHING her sing, as she melts a lot of other guys' hearts. Listen to her sing without video and you'll see she's not as good as many of the past singers (ex. LeToya London)

Katharine is a great singer but being an idol is much more than singing. That's why taylor won. A real idol is supposed to cheer us up. She was the best female singer in the competition but taylor was THE IDOL which means, in my opinion, THE MOST POPULAR.
