he plays for the arppegio...put a finger in the five fret of first string and other in the 8 fret...and use the finger of the other hand to play the 12 fret...so you let the finger under the 5 fret give the ''knock'' in the 12 fret and use a other finger of left hand to ''hamer'' the 8 fret....like this you make the Am arpegio,,,i hope you understand...^^...isnt hard but begin slow...

He's actually not sloppy. He just doesn't really care for accuracy when doing these videos or any other "instructional" videos. I watched him very carefully live, and he hit everything perfectly.

No, you got that completely backwards. Guitarists would understand a lot better why he's actually a very good guitarist. How much he's improved and how impressive what he does is. Also, how dragonforce doesn't even play as fast as people claim. The people who dislike him are the ones that have picked up a guitar hero controller and discovered DF through guitar hero. People who either dont' understand anything about technicality, or very little of it. He's pretty solid, especially now.
The way I see it: some people just give him to much positive reactions....that is why he thinks he is good. The only thing he is good in are Mario effects.............
The reason they sucked live on the IR tour is they made the biggest mistake you can make:: Pushing your skills when recording. On their newest album (and tour) they played what they were comfortable playing, so while it's not quite as fast, they can play it nearly perfect. Good trade if you ask me.
But they do suck. You look at Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. They dont make mistakes because their stuff is withing their capabilities. Kudos to these guys for trying hard but they really didint anticipate live perforamances.
u have to remember though. they shot themselves in the foot with there album. they play this fast riffs on guitar etc etc but when they play live they have to cut down on what they play or they sound crap. you can't expect everyone to forgive them for this because the studio version is how u think a band plays lives. but when u hear this guy mess up a few times or sound crap then its just natural to say he sucks as hes original given us a fast impression about his guiatr playing abilities

I"m not even a big fan of his. And mainly because unfortunately as nice of guys as the dragonforce dudes are, they're quite immiature and irresponsible. Maybe you should stop jump off the bandwagon that has you calling everyone a fanboy because they choose to state what is mainly an opinion gathered by things that have been witnessed in other videos and events.

I'm not jumping on any bandwagon, I'm saying that any decent guitarist know's this guy sucks, and that "he doesnt care for accuracy in his video's" is a dumb excuse

No, you got that completely backwards. Guitarists would understand a lot better why he's actually a very good guitarist. How much he's improved and how impressive what he does is. Also, how dragonforce doesn't even play as fast as people claim. The people who dislike him are the ones that have picked up a guitar hero controller and discovered DF through guitar hero. People who either dont' understand anything about technicality, or very little of it. He's pretty solid, especially now.

The reason they sucked live on the IR tour is they made the biggest mistake you can make:: Pushing your skills when recording. On their newest album (and tour) they played what they were comfortable playing, so while it's not quite as fast, they can play it nearly perfect. Good trade if you ask me.

But they do suck. You look at Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. They dont make mistakes because their stuff is withing their capabilities. Kudos to these guys for trying hard but they really didint anticipate live perforamances.

u have to remember though. they shot themselves in the foot with there album. they play this fast riffs on guitar etc etc but when they play live they have to cut down on what they play or they sound crap. you can't expect everyone to forgive them for this because the studio version is how u think a band plays lives. but when u hear this guy mess up a few times or sound crap then its just natural to say he sucks as hes original given us a fast impression about his guiatr playing abilities
