how can i or you be in a position to say what % of donations go astray..? however, many big cases come to mind. without going too far i just typed in"africa aid scam" in google and came up with how multi national drugs corps have been getting fat by selling drugs, when what people needed was food.

for me its cynical to rape and dominate a country and then offer it a donation. the problems with these states is their debts to world bank loans. we donate and they pay back the extortion

It's true that we collectively punch the poor in the face, but I consider it to be better to offer a band-aid afterwards than nothing. A big thing here is arms trade as well, which I will explain in a couple of weeks in my new video, where it turns out that the west gets more money through arms trades to third world countries, than they give in aid. This is our system, there is no other way to make it work and everything else failed.

theres a structural problem here that just gets worse...called monopoly, or concentrated power.

There have been very few european cases in which donations went into wrong pockets, usually they get to the people in need. Would you say donating money to the poor is bad? What - if possible to write in this little textfield - is your solution?

Very nicely done. you started off with a revealing statistic: 5% own 95%....(growing by the minute from reagan on) and then ask us to donate. But really, should there be any need to donate, and more over, should the poor have to depend on donations? The world is awash with money, even now in times of crisis. I think its more a question of administration, banking debts, oligarchies, kleptogarchies.

You are absolutely right. But donating certainly does help in short term, it just does not fight the actual problems. I think the donating process must be ongoing before mankind fights for long term solutions.

sure, the money donated must by all means arrive at the people in need. in germany those organisations are very trustfull, I am not aware of any cases in which the donated money was used to pay single individuals here. I am by now more carefull with donating money, since it certainly does help in short term, but does not fight the actual problems, so the donating process must be ongoing before mankind fights for long term solutions.

I really dont like to donate cuz i dont know if this is done in any countrys but here in Finland we had many times that people donate money to some organisation that is supposed to sent the money to some poor countrys and then they just take like 95% of all the money to them self and send just 5% to the poor people who really need it.

Very good concepts, good editing, as an American, I loved it. But, heck, in the USA, when I buy a soda, it's over $1 each... not $.60...small error, not really worth mentioning, since healthy people like me don't buy soda's...fruit juice, maybe. American government wasted all those billions on a war that wasn't justified in Iraq, shame on American politicians.

I'm kind of fuzzy on if you were promoting the Iraq war or not though. I would assume that you weren't, but some people do think that America is helping Iraq with this war though that is a load of bologna.

I am amazed that it is possible to let so many people believe that you can have peace through violence and war.
