Um, no, Macs are not impossible to crack, as was proven in the recent "Pwn to Own" contest. The Mac was the first to get cracked, while Windows soon followed. Linux truly does rule, but (as I am not completely blind fanboy with regard to Linux) still wonder if some other OS like BSD or Plan9 would have fared even better.

its all about option, but if you ask me, I can do what the mac does - Compose music (FL Studio), edit DV (Premiere Pro), Enhance photo's (Photoshop), and most importantly Game, but Macs CAN do that, just not as good, with their hardware available. A Mac is better for all the reason you just pointed out lol. To stop a PC from having virus etc. you need anti virus software and firewalls etc. With a Mac there is little threat from ever getting a virus for the sheer fact that there is such a little known number of virus for the Mac. The only reason i can think of why a PC would be better than a Mac is for gaming. But i only use my computer for music, movies, designing and photography, so a Mac is a better choice.
