So apparently this was accomplished by soaking the books in a sugar solution to create a hard surface. Did I quantum leap into an other dimension because I'm pretty sure hard cover books already exist.
@wonbanana i believe the thickness of the books matter so if you were to put hard covers on all of them, they they'd all sound the same. the tone depends on the thickness, not just a hard cover.
There's a photo in the link under the video. From what I can read, it says "Miditap My #1 Knock" but I couldn't find the product anywhere. TinEye returned no results.
@Steelfrogmedia I had the same experience. Tho, I thought it said Miditap Knock MT 01. I left a comment. If they tell me anything, I'll let y'all know.
Why don't you guys utilise your creative energy to, say, create a real Gundam or something? I mean, this is interesting, it's fun to watch, ... but that's about it ;-)
@BlackH3Lic0pt3r Because, if you are capable of creating things like this, then the creator must have greater possibilities to develop something useful in the future. The creator must know mechanics, electricity, programming, AND harmonics, among others, to create this piece of art.
Another bump for @officaldandeacon 's request to know what that device is. If it is what it appears to be, then I have the synthesizer enthusiast's equivalent of a massive boner.
