What's crazy is that the going rate for them is around $400 to $500. I think there's a lot more people who genuinely like them versus people who don't. Not even the DB III was selling for those crazy prices at 1st. More of a collectors shoe IMO. Not a wear pair...

Also it was more of a detective/mystery comic and same with the early cartoons. They added the other super powers later stealing them from competing comics, particularly Captain Marvel.

Then there are other models and colourways of some shoes I've seen, liked, and subsequently bought, that the hypebeasts ignore, like many of the SBs that aren't Dunks like the Omar Salazars. I like some of the Jordan models, like the 5s, but they are just too much money and many of the reissues are poorly made.

so bottom line, i completely agree with you these are so damn ugly. that green on the wind throws the whole shoe off... and the blue stitching/crazy ass colors just doesn't look right. everybody liked em once the hype built up, but to me the shoe didn't change. it was still ugly as all hell. Smffh people fall into the hype. I'm just glad theres still people like you (and me. lol) that can see through it. Ya know whats funny as hell, is that EVERYBODY felt the same way as you when the pictures first surfaced!! When i first saw the pics of this shoe, me and all the people i knew were like "damn these are the ugliest sneakers" and then by the time they released... every one of those people were scrambling to try and get a pair.
