Hey..idiot...The first person to record "black Betty" was Heudy ledbetter.AKA ledbelly in the 1920's. A vocal track while using his guitar for percussion. Ram Jam covered ledbetter's version. The rythem.. the phrasing..everything.. they just did it in a modern studio. with full instruments.
