@TwardoglowyPoland what are you talking about? The battle depicted in the movie 300 had no Muslim influence. The first half of the battle was the Athenian and spartan army versus the invading Persian fleet. Then leonidas took his part of the spartan forces, let the rest go home with the Athenians and almost won the battle by himself. Though they all died he technically won, the Persians pulled back and Greece was not invaded. :P this is why I love the Spartans.

in real history king Leonidas was about 60 at this battle so he would only hav had a leadership role/commander and there was only 300 spartans but 7000 greeks with him and the Persian army was put at about 150 thousand its estimated that they lost 2500 in the first battle and the Persians lost 20000.it was mostly just the Spartans who stayed at the end and of course died but what the film dose not tell you is after losing so many men against so few Xerxes fled after the battle and never came bk
