I love the idea, but your animation needs some work. I'm not saying it's bad, but with such an amazing idea, I'd like to see amazing animation behind it.
I think even the characters do emote, not a lot though, but i think the most important part that you miss is good textures. most of your textures are flattened and less on detail, I think thats what kinda dosent give it the feel. The lighting can also be improved!

I think the topic about the animation is right.
much to linear and not very lifely.
it really would upgreat the pictures when the characters would move more believable.
anyway... nice idea and some nice pictures.

id rate is 3\10. If ur learning then its 6\10.. Id work on ur timing of ur animation. Its too floaty and tooo linear.

Looks great...great idea to begin with, beautiful eye candy too. Indian animation is finally getting somewhere!
