@Mslowe1985 As far as I know, u dont need to, lalo na kung di ka naman lalabas ng airport or lilipat from one airline to another. Hi Chukkoi, I like your videos and I think you're very good at what you do. Why don't you use a better equipment such as a HD camcorder on your upcoming shoots? I'm sure you can very much afford one. Ha! I was looking up another NAIA (National Intercollegiate Athletic Association.) I was surprised to see the airport here. He he! I've been to this airport though.. ten years ago. They were revamping it at the time.

Yes the Security. I remember I was at the Terminal 2. There are 3 checkpoint Custom. No.1 checkpoint at the entrance. I was caught, I was taking a glow toy and a MP3. The Filipinos think its a bomb or drugs.. hahaha!!! No.2 Checkpoint. I had to take off my shoes and put my bag in the cat scan or something. The Filipino found a dope tape in my bag and I cant take it to the airline. No.3 checkpoint. The Filipino found a water bottle in the bag. It was my mothers. HAHAHA It was really strict!!!

I arrived in this NAIA 1 airport eventualy from KLIA. As you told me before this terminal is an old building, but most of the int'l airlines were landed here. But the good thing was the immigration and nothing to declare officer were welcome me well. I'll come again to visit Manila soon.

Very inspirational! Well I'm going to travel outside the US for the first time. I had an idea to film most of the trip for a viewers experience like yours! My dad keeps asking if I even know how to use a camcorder! It pisses me off cos I've already said I knew how, but he doesn't seem to believe me. I've been doing things like this for ages with friends. I guess people never take time to analyze the things we are capable of. My dad hardly believes in my knowledge anyways. Great! Awesome video!

Yup, I was using a Nokia N70 that time. Yung mga recent vids ko, naka N95 8GB na ako, but the thing is, maganda pa rin yung distansya ng lens ng N70 kasi parang may ibang tao kumukuha.
N70 is 2 megapixels only, pero ok narin.

So far sa mga nasakyan kong 747, may windows sa dulo. Depende yon sa seat configuration ng airline. Sa United Airlines, yung 747 na nasakyan ko, may seat sa isang part sa gitna na walang window kaya nagpalipat ako.

Pag online booking, pwede ka mag reserve ng seats online. May seat map ka makikita as you navigate thru the airline's website. Sa PAL, hanapin mo sa SEAT MAPS. Sa Cebu Pacific, di mo yata makikita unless magbook ka.
If you book thru a travel agency or directly from the airline, you can have advance seat assignments upon request.
Or sa airport, upon checkin in, you can request kung san mo gusto umupo as long as available yung seat.
Makikita yung seat maps sa Cebu Pacific - but without the row numbering : Sa About Us >> Our Fleet. Then choose the aircraft type you are flying on. Wala nga lang row numbers.

Baka ipaiwan sayo yung mouthwash sa security check. You can request naman for a mouthwash sa flight attendant. :-)
Luggage weight... ask mo parin yung airline kasi nagva-vary yata. You can check sa website nila. Some airlines are strict- maski 1 pound na sobra, papabawas sayo.
Yung razor, as much as possible, ilagay mo nalang sa maleta mo pati deodorant. Mag ahit ka nalang bago ka lumipad para di ka na mag ahit sa eroplano. Tutal ilang oras lang naman papuntang Canada at di naman tutubo agad yung unwanted hair mo. Oo nga naman, tandaan-
pwede na handcarry liquid...regarding naman sa bagahe depende sa airline sa korean air 64kg ang allowed nila basta dalawang bag.....ang dalhin mo tsinelas dahil sa haba ng byahe sasakit paa mo hehehehe
As much as possible, wag ka magdala ng mga naglalaman ng mga liquid sa handcarry, maski pabango, liquid foundation, manicure, etc. Kung maliit na content lang naman, ilagay mo nalang sa maleta. Avoid bringing food kung di naman talaga kelangan lalo na pag papuntang U.S., avoid bringing fruits and pirated stuff. Siyempre bawal din magdala ng granada diba? Hahaha!
Check mo narin with your travel agent para sure. Kung clothes lang, ok na yon.

If you are a Philippine passport holder, you don't need a visa to enter Hong Kong. But if you are staying for more than 7 or 14 days I think, you're required to get a permit for extended stay. Please look it up nalang sa internet or ask your travel agent coz I might give the wrong info. :-)

Don't worry, it's gonna be a fun experience traveling. Lakasan mo lang loob mo, explore around the airport. May mga directions naman, and dont be afraid to ask if you are not sure where to go. Just guard your things lang and dont trust your stuff with anyone, even leave them maski sandali.

Yes, as long as it's not in large volumes a, hahaha! Yung pang personal use lang kasi having big volumes may attract attention if they see it sa X-Ray.
Extra info- avoid bringing pirated CD's or DVD's specially if you're travelling to the US. Maski isa BAWAL. I dunno here in Asia if they do random checks but so far ininspect lang luggage ko sa Xiamen airport tsaka sa Micronesia. I had burned CD's there containing music collections for my discman that time. Had no problems with it sa customs.
buti nakagawa ka nang ganyan na video ayos yan pero di ka kaya mag mukang baliw nyan sa airport kasi parang kinakausap mo yung sarili mo sa airport baka magtinginan ang mga tao basta pag punta mo ng ibang bansa mag video ka ulit.

to be honest, they should really knock down terminal 1 and rebuild it to modern standards like the terminals 2 & 3.

Can anyone tell me how much the airport tax is these days as last time i was there it was in 2006 and it cost about P540.

Ha! I was looking up another NAIA (National Intercollegiate Athletic Association.) I was surprised to see the airport here. He he! I've been to this airport though.. ten years ago. They were revamping it at the time.

Yes the Security. I remember I was at the Terminal 2. There are 3 checkpoint Custom. No.1 checkpoint at the entrance. I was caught, I was taking a glow toy and a MP3. The Filipinos think its a bomb or drugs.. hahaha!!! No.2 Checkpoint. I had to take off my shoes and put my bag in the cat scan or something. The Filipino found a dope tape in my bag and I cant take it to the airline. No.3 checkpoint. The Filipino found a water bottle in the bag. It was my mothers. HAHAHA It was really strict!!!

Di naman. Di nga ako mapakali kasi dami kong gustong kunan. Napalipat na nga ng seat yung katabi ko sa business class kasi para akong kiti-kiti, abot ng gadgets dito, labas ng laptop doon, hahaha! Nadistorbo yata.
Search mo net yung EMILES o kaya FREE FREQUENT FLIER MILES. Minsan diyan ako kumukuha ng mga updates kung may bonus miles. Minsan I earn it doing transpacific flights, minsan pag may naghohotel, pinapagamit ko name & account ko para sakin mag earn yung miles, hehe!

I arrived in this NAIA 1 airport eventualy from KLIA. As you told me before this terminal is an old building, but most of the int'l airlines were landed here. But the good thing was the immigration and nothing to declare officer were welcome me well. I'll come again to visit Manila soon.

When we traveled, hindi naman hinanap yung photocopy ng credit card samin. Gamit ko pa yung card ng pinsan ko.
The thing is, baka kung kelan ka paalis at nasa airport ka na e tsaka i-cancel ng friend mo yung flight, hehe!

Ah I see just a cell phone camera?! That's what makes it unique. I thought it was a DV HD camera lol. Thanks for the tip. Very inspirational! Well I'm going to travel outside the US for the first time. I had an idea to film most of the trip for a viewers experience like yours! My dad keeps asking if I even know how to use a camcorder! It pisses me off cos I've already said I knew how, but he doesn't seem to believe me. I've been doing things like this for ages with friends. I guess people never take time to analyze the things we are capable of. My dad hardly believes in my knowledge anyways. Great! Awesome video!

You don't have to use an expensive camcorder. I only use a celfone camera for ALL of my videos. I use a Nokia N95 8GB and a Nokia N70, and that's it.
Anyway, thanks for watching. More travel vids in my list. Go check them for ideas.

Tips? Go spend a few bucks and try out some snack bars there. Don't want to spend? Ask for canned drinks before you land. Also, follow directions to where you wanna go and you'll be fine. :-)

Um, you better check that out sa mga online ticketing websites ng PAL tsaka Cebu Pacific. Pero minsan may umaabot na kasing baba ng P3,400 roundtrip, depende sa promo nila. Pabago bago ng presyo so better check their prices online from time to time.

Yup, I was using a Nokia N70 that time. Yung mga recent vids ko, naka N95 8GB na ako, but the thing is, maganda pa rin yung distansya ng lens ng N70 kasi parang may ibang tao kumukuha.
N70 is 2 megapixels only, pero ok narin.
More travel vids in my video list. Check mo nalang. May mga nursing vids din kung interested ka.

So far sa mga nasakyan kong 747, may windows sa dulo. Depende yon sa seat configuration ng airline. Sa United Airlines, yung 747 na nasakyan ko, may seat sa isang part sa gitna na walang window kaya nagpalipat ako.

Pag online booking, pwede ka mag reserve ng seats online. May seat map ka makikita as you navigate thru the airline's website. Sa PAL, hanapin mo sa SEAT MAPS. Sa Cebu Pacific, di mo yata makikita unless magbook ka.
If you book thru a travel agency or directly from the airline, you can have advance seat assignments upon request.
Or sa airport, upon checkin in, you can request kung san mo gusto umupo as long as available yung seat.
Sa boarding pass nakikita ang seat number.

Makikita yung seat maps sa Cebu Pacific - but without the row numbering : Sa About Us >> Our Fleet. Then choose the aircraft type you are flying on. Wala nga lang row numbers.

Baka ipaiwan sayo yung mouthwash sa security check. You can request naman for a mouthwash sa flight attendant. :-)
Luggage weight... ask mo parin yung airline kasi nagva-vary yata. You can check sa website nila. Some airlines are strict- maski 1 pound na sobra, papabawas sayo.

Yung razor, as much as possible, ilagay mo nalang sa maleta mo pati deodorant. Mag ahit ka nalang bago ka lumipad para di ka na mag ahit sa eroplano. Tutal ilang oras lang naman papuntang Canada at di naman tutubo agad yung unwanted hair mo. Oo nga naman, tandaan-

As much as possible, wag ka magdala ng mga naglalaman ng mga liquid sa handcarry, maski pabango, liquid foundation, manicure, etc. Kung maliit na content lang naman, ilagay mo nalang sa maleta. Avoid bringing food kung di naman talaga kelangan lalo na pag papuntang U.S., avoid bringing fruits and pirated stuff. Siyempre bawal din magdala ng granada diba? Hahaha!
Check mo narin with your travel agent para sure. Kung clothes lang, ok na yon.

Sinakyan ko to Korea from Manila is B777, however choosing between Boeing and Airbus, I'd go for the Airbus.

If you are a Philippine passport holder, you don't need a visa to enter Hong Kong. But if you are staying for more than 7 or 14 days I think, you're required to get a permit for extended stay. Please look it up nalang sa internet or ask your travel agent coz I might give the wrong info. :-)

Don't worry, it's gonna be a fun experience traveling. Lakasan mo lang loob mo, explore around the airport. May mga directions naman, and dont be afraid to ask if you are not sure where to go. Just guard your things lang and dont trust your stuff with anyone, even leave them maski sandali.

Yes, as long as it's not in large volumes a, hahaha! Yung pang personal use lang kasi having big volumes may attract attention if they see it sa X-Ray.
Extra info- avoid bringing pirated CD's or DVD's specially if you're travelling to the US. Maski isa BAWAL. I dunno here in Asia if they do random checks but so far ininspect lang luggage ko sa Xiamen airport tsaka sa Micronesia. I had burned CD's there containing music collections for my discman that time. Had no problems with it sa customs.

buti nakagawa ka nang ganyan na video ayos yan pero di ka kaya mag mukang baliw nyan sa airport kasi parang kinakausap mo yung sarili mo sa airport baka magtinginan ang mga tao basta pag punta mo ng ibang bansa mag video ka ulit.

Hahaha! Di naman. Nagagawa ko lang yan for the following reasons:
1) The people at the airport won't remember my face anyway
2) I'm used to it eversince I was even working as a TV host/ on cam artist before and I'm fine with people looking at me
3) Almost nobody looks at me really since I'm using a small celfone cam to take vids of myself
4) I've seen people do this too
5) I have people all over the world writing to me!
