I happen to love this piece and I'm planning to buy the album, but does that mean everyone has to? No! Try letting people have a different opinion, it makes life a lot easier.

@inimicalODDITY Honestly don't care what you think, I'm not much into kiss as i used to be but the tone is horrible in this and it is... just hurts my ears. I play all kind of styles of music but this sounds horrible.
@ZeeMetallz Did you use a different account just to reply? And the tone isn't a universal one, but it works in this application. Not every band has to use the same tones as kiss.

@ZeeMetallz So what it is, exactly, about Mike's clarity and precision of playing that sounds terrible? Is it the fact that his distortion isn't so horrendously over the top you can't hear anything else? That his guitar doesn't sound like mud? That it isn't de-tuned to the point of being a useless instrument of nothing but noise?
It's a weird world when people think a clarity in tone like this sounds terrible... Ridiculous how little most guitarists know about tone nowadays...

@ZeeMetallz I have no problem with you disliking the music, but everyone's technical, and musical skill here is almost undeniably perfect.
Whether or not that makes perfect music is debatable... but personally I don't think there are many modern jazz acts that can keep up in musicality of these guys... The odd thing about them is how little improvisation there is for a jazz trio. Anyway...

I mean we can argue about the quality of the video, we can even say that the music itself isn't all that interesting... those are subjective points, but Eber's tone is wonderful. He doesn't hide behind his distortion. When he has it on you can still hear every single note; you still hear the precision he hits every note with.
