Wow Sony needs to sign some better artists if they have to advertise some talentless pop shit on a video for the Cranes. Do they think someone watching this video is going to suddenly want to listen to some tarted up auto tune dime a dozen bullshit? My guess is that all people listening to bands like the Cranes actually care what their music sounds like. Sony your marketing people could use a lesson in "targeting".

The Cranes are one of the most misunderstood bands from that era. I love that it's a brother and sister act. They have deep lyrics: pain, frustation, and good old-fashion "goth" melancholy.

@spinglasshydra I agree. I also think the 90's in general was a misunderstood era. There was this burst of unsuppressed creativity in many avenues that was able to prosper in a very natural and uninhibited way. Then it was all squelched by the rapid growth of technology. Back then people didn't have cell phones, kids hung out in front of convenience stores, a band in someone's garage still had a chance of making it big one day...now everything is packaged. There is very little truth anymore.
