I've competed against Danny back in the day at Cranmore. He is a great guy who always seems to have fun no matter what the conditions are like on the slopes. I have always worn a helmet for fear of something like this happening. I hope that people see how serious this type of injury can be and take the time to grab a brain bucket and put it on while riding.

i used to snowboard without a helmet. and then that guys wife died whilst skiing due to not wearing a helmet, ever since then ive worn a helmet, this is a great endorsement for wearing a helmet, and if anyone does any sort of sport without using the right safety equipment i recommend they should, i really hope this stops many more people from doing similar things.
