  • @tradera00 thats the turbo dude it has an awesome whistle to it lol jk

  • Post more videos of your sr20 240sx!! I want to see more of it, now that its broken in!!

  • @240sxGuy3 Sure will once the weather gets better.

  • @Sr20man81 Ok cool!! Thats a nice 240! How much power you pushing in it??

  • Nah, I live in WV.

  • @Sr20man81 What state do you live in?

  • do you live in Pennsylvania?

  • shouldn't be beating your motor while breaking it in.

  • very nice. looks fun even on 10lbs.

  • you have an intercooler set up on that?

  • @wajalama Yea, it's the Greddy v-spec. I notched some steel out of the bumper and trimmed the cover to get it to fit without sagging. I also fabbed up some metal to force all air into the intercooler and then out through the radiator instead of allowing it to escape around them. The car stays extremely cool. I also have the Nismo low temp thermostat, koyo rad, and dual flexalite fans.

  • Lol, yea I love my tranny. Started doing it last year. Not sure what it is. I want to auto cross it so I am going to get a good diff.

  • @Sr20man81

    Ok I have a question.

I'm a noob at cars, I just got into them :(

    what should I get an '89 240sx for 1100 or an '92 240sx for 1200?

I want a car thats easy to work on and learn, is this the car for that purpose?

  • Choose the one that is in better condition. I would more then likely take the 92 over the 89 since the 89's have a SOHC while the 92 comes with a DOHC

  • @Jakefkyah

But are they easy to work compared to a honda?

  • I would say they are about the same if you work on them with some research. I dont know much about hondas but i believe nissans have more wiring in the engine bay.

  • @HELLawaitsall59

    Hmmm

one more question are the parts expensive?

  • I would take the 92 over the 89 240 as well. If you are planning on putting the SR20det in it, the 92 would be a little easier swap as well. Parts are a little more expensive than Honda's.

  • @Sr20man81

    Thanks :D

  • mmmm love that tranny whine :D

    synth or fuct?

and if you arent to concerned just weld the rear end.

  • I am not 100% sure. Once the engine is broke in and I get the boost cranked up I will get it on the dyno. The engine builder said around 400hp at 20 psi. All depends on the tune. I will get dyno up in the spring.

  • horsepower? =)

  • To answer your original question the differential is stock.

  • The video is not sped up and unfortunately the differential is open.

  • Is this video sped up or did you change the diff?
