The cockpit is by Obutto. This rig is used mostly for iRacing and is now Eyefinity with 3 25in monitors and a XFX 5970. I have other videos of the new configuration posted as well. The G940 is the only flight stick I use. The wheel I use is a G-25 and stock shifter with CST3-B pedals / high pressure brake mod.
I prefer Eyefinity to a single screen. But TrackIR is a must for flight sims. Moving your head while watching the screen with your eyes is instantly natural. My main sim for this rig is iRacing.com. I had to train myself NOT to move my head too much while racing. That took some time. If you try it for flight sims, you'll never be without it again.
That is pretty sweet. I've been looking to get a trackIR ever since I got wings of prey. I think the only thing that bothers me about the trackIR is that no matter which way you turn your head, your eyes still have to watch the screen so I can see that would get awkward after a while but on the flip side, it would be nice not to have to use the POV hat all the time either lol. Do you think it's better with 1 monitor or multiple monitors?
how do you do that with your camera, that when you move your head your camera move too?
please give me an answer because i play wings of prey and microsoft flight simulator X and i would steer my camera with my had (or webcam don't know)^^
@MaguireWard ridicolous argument here... As a matter of fact, you NEED A LIFE to buy all the gear this guy has. Would like to have such systems for my Flight Sims... O_o
whats the point in having head sensors to look around the cockpit. if your looking left out the cockpit your looking left in reallity so your not looking at the screen mmmmm
@a24218361 lol you dont get it....its a matter of sensitivity...this guy uses bad settings. track ir is a must for any full real virtual multiplayer fight in IL2...this game here and his gear is like goin with ferrari to cart race......its a shoot em up and no sim...i fly il2 for 10 yrs now and i look around like "in real" from my feeling.sure it took me 3 month to get used to track ir but then..woah
@a24218361 it can be set up so you don't have to look a real full 90 degree to look a vitual 90 degrees, you can have ot so if you look say 10 degrees the game camera turn 90, i hope i explain it right
if its HD 60 inch tv ,, it will be crazy !!

The latest ver is around $150 and to be able to engage several targets in one fight makes it worth every penny.
