@solidsnake858 U obviously know nothing about South African sport,stick to American sports!By the way there r quotas in South African rugby,which oblige local teams to include players of colour!Players should be selected on merit but in SA many white players r not given the opportunity to play because of a quota system in place in certain sports.why do u think so many prominet cricket & rugby white south african born players end up playing for countries like England, US, Canada, Australia etc ..

Why is Bafana Bafana not representative of South Africa.Are there no whites in South African Football. If rugby is obliged to have players of colour why does that not apply to Bafana, surely there are good white South African footballers!!!!I go back and I remember players like the wegerle brothers, tinklers, fish, Lane there were somany!

@polpot28 Think before you post, there is now more competition in South African football, so the black kids who grow up on the streets can put in the 10,000 practise that is needed to make, whereas white kids are made to do other stuff. I know its a generalisation, but its sort of true. Soon, because football has gained some more popularity amoung white kids, we may see some more.

@merton8181 Having lived in South Africa, for 27 years and having been involved with local soccer at various levels, I think I am qualified to comment on South African soccer!May be I should remind you of players like the Wegerle brothers(Roy even played in 2 WC for the US), Eric Tinkler (played in Portugal, Italy and later in England), Dimas Teixiera(played in Portugal, Italy and Belgium), Luis Sampaio, Mark Fish, Jackie Rawlings, etc the list of white players goes on and on.

You should ask yourself how many white players play in the PSL?and then ask yourself how many people of colour play in the Currie Cup?In rugby there quotas whereas in soccer there arent any? why is that the case?
