When you re perforate the holes I take it you pierce them again with the same tool to make the holes bigger. Now I know why the scissors wouldn't fit the holes to make a star.

It IS a lot of work! Unfortunately most people don't realise the many hours it takes to produce a card like this. Parchment crafting - the most beautiful of all paper crafts!
