I have had mine a couple months. This thing is freakin' fantastic. Not only is it easy, it is fun, which encourages you to eat more healthy salad. As a few people have mentioned, the blades are deceptively sharp. This is a good thing, just use caution (as you would a knife). The airtight lid literally keeps salads fresh for five-six days. Amazing. I make one large salad at the beginning of the week, then take it as lunch each day and eat it some days as supper. It literally is a life changer.
this looks DUMB! you still need to peel/ remove stems/ cut down your veggies so they actually fit in the thing. also there is no way i would trust that to clean things... just swirl the dirt around.

DANGER!!! Beware…blades are sharp as razor blades. Inadequate warning on packaging. Nearly lost my fingertip with incidental contact! Not a bad product otherwise. Sleezy sales approach when purchasing online. Don't be taken by purchasing more than you need.
Do not understand why you cannot get the salad spinner seperate when you already have the salad chef plus did not get brush to clean? Cannot contact company or talk to a person on phone. Not fair to those who ordered before salad spinner came out.

Also, "seen on TV" items often appear at stores like Target, Walkmart, etc. in a few months or so. Better to wait until you can buy JUST one (not two, w/separate shipping cost added). Also would be best to use a credit card and get a store receipt. That way if you have issues with the product, either the store or the credit card company can handle any mess.

You have to give your credit card number first and the website is set up as to not allow you to make changes in the shopping cart. There is no contact info on the website. I am stuck with over $80.00 on my credit card.
