Hey im Alex Carl of a band called "Shelter for the Scarred" anyway ive have just released a new song call "I Hate it" Its pretty catchy ;) but plz be apart of my dream and go to my page and watch the video, like or dislike it, and share it if u would plz, thank you for ur support! :)
I have their self titled album on cd, which is on my i-pod. I have been listening to it non stop recently, if i was still using a walkman i'd have worn the disc out.
I first heard Brand New Day on Freaky Friday and then Drift on the One Tree Hill. They are absolutely brilliant. They have been dormant for the past 5 years. Lets just hope they bring out an exploding 3rd album sometime in the future.
i just learn the band and very positive that i''ll never gonna stop of hearing them.. there is a calm power hidden in every and each one of the songs...i do like them...
Thanks for keeping this vid around. We, appreciators of great music, have an obligation to keep true music alive. Can't let that "dancy poppy shyte" take over completely. It's bad enough it's as popular as it is.
with monster good songs like Drift, Weakness, Save Me, Brand New Day, What if I Don't, Hollow, Without a Reason, and Closer, I'm surprised they didn't return for a third album because it's clear on the youtube circuit they're in serious demand, and would be a welcome shot in the arm to a dead music industry ruled by dancy poppy shyte that goes so far past pretense and repetition we might as well just hit ourselves with hammers and get the same effect.

@SoraMatt honestly i was mega disappointed by their second album. asides from the vocalist, the entire line up was different and i found the songs to be quite generic compared to their debut album. that first album is still to me one of the best rock albums i've ever heard.

Great comment, Sora. The earlier part of this decade is when the last good music came out in my opinion.
