I'm just about to start restoration of a '73 that I've inherited from my Dad when he passed. Been sitting in he shed fr 25yrs, thanks for the inspiration! Can't wait to hear that sound live again!
Well, yea...the Z1 was a 900 and the H2 was a 750. Just like the Honda Trail 70 can pass a moped! You are just wishin you had the H2 cuz you miss not having to go around and tighten up all the bolts that vibrate loose from normal running!!
the only stock bike that even stood a chance to my built H2 was the Z1-only got beat through 1st gear 'cause it was too light in the ft end. GREAT bike- wish I still had it.
the later H2 has a longer wheelbase and is much easier to launch. Slower in the quarter mile than the '72 model in the hands of an experienced 2 stroke dragger but faster in the hands of anyone else. I love my '75 H2.
When I was 17 I saw one of these take off from outside KUSTOM Kawasaki in Hednesford Staffs.......about'74...in these colours too......it was fucking awsome.....
SOUND's LIKE A JAWA 350 TS, how can you tell with your head so firmly inserted up yer backside..

Brings back memories. I hope you have many happy rides. If memory services a better brake pad set would help with that happy riding ;-)
