man i have had this rubbing noise everytime i brake no matter how soft or hard and also when i let go of them. it sounds like rubber up against rubber or something
i sucks i just have them resurface and now is the pads is touching the disc and making like grinding noise its a brand new pads well i did 220 miles on it and still the sound persist i think the disc is mess up
It depends on what part of the rotor has wobbled; if the friction surface has wobbled, it can be re-surfaced as long as it is within 0.020 in. of the minimum. If the 'hat' itself is warped, that's not a good sign and the rotor must be discarded.
Yes , I hit stable beside the road when other people change line without signal. Serius damage such as bearing, wheel scrached, big hole on my tyre. But I manage to catched the guy to pay me a tyre only.
HELP, I just resurface my rotor disc. On the right disc have wobble when attached to rotor hub, I did change new hub bearing and resurfaced my rotor Hub but still wobble. It follow my wheel also back and forth.
Is the problem is my rotor Hub ? Can I fix /adjust it? I found out there's brake align to fix the problem but not to sure weather replace Hub or fix it.
Gosh, I really don't know. Did you hit a curb or have an accident? So when the wheel is on the car it wobbles too? Ask some friends or a real mechanic they should know.
@axenz1when resurfacing did u put that coil ring around the rotor??? thiz iz exactly wat will happen if u dont put it on!, either that or u didnt put the rotor on the right way on the brake lathe, maybe u utilized the wrong cupz?

@axenz1 often a shifted belt within a radial tire will cause your exact symptom. look at the tire while spinning it and look for any buldges.
