  • Always war in that zone. There will be no peace there.

  • Gosh this guy made so many mistakes, how can you teach man ???

  • This Guy is just another typical American guy that just can't get it quite well, Zaza 15 milion people ??? come on ! Martin Lewis I ll teach something

Zaza-Gorani language (including Shabaki) is the sanskrit of kurdish language, this archaic form of Kurdish that is perserved by these religious communities.

  • We kurds should make an wall from all the arabs to invade us again whit their arabinfections, just as the jews did

  • kurdistan must be independet

  • okk now that sounds more like it and i have to say this disputed zone and everything sounds quite similar to the complicated problems with the bosnian civil war especially with the lack of clarity about whats actually going on there and whose doing what.

  • wowww wtf?! dudde! almost all the christians and jews and minorities religious or otherwise have fled to iraqi kurdistan for safety and for their lives and have remained safe there including many arabs who wish to flee the violence and have the means to do so! not only that it is the islamist extremists who are the only ones doing any violence jeeze! and the anglo-french colonial agreement made it so that the independent state of kurdistan after WWI would not exist!

  • The both Shabak and Ezidis are absolutely Kurdish in all aspects of language, culture, tradition, costume, history and geography. The Shabaks are speaking a southern Kurdish dialectic identical to those Kurds of Hawraman, Kermanshah, and Khanaqin while the both Ezidi sacred books are writen in Kurdish and their prays are in Kurdish they believe that Kurdish is chosen by god to be the language of Paradise. If you go into details then you will find that they are more Kurdish than other Kurds.

  • the yezidis should invade mecca!

  • Mr. Malikis Dangerous Ambition

    Feb 13, 2010

The New York Times To resolve a dispute with the Tikrit provincial council,Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki of Iraq did what any good autocrat would do: He sent in the army.

This is just the most recent example of thuggery by Mr. Maliki, who is determined to do anything he can to win re-election next month.

  • no disrespect, still a remarkable lecture.

  • Very interest video, thanks for posting it up :)

  • There are other dynamics here.

Prof. I. Filkenstein of Tel Aviv university, head of archeology. shows that the history puts all groups in the same historical movement.

    brothers not cousins.

In Palestine, left progressives have more in common with Israeli majority and wish for democracy and peace.

Religious cults more and more are the alien feature. build on left anti conservative crap (shit)

    build on lifting people up.

robot engineers. educated humans, not robot people to serve fascists.

  • Thank you for that. This lecture does a very good job of reviewing the other ethnic groups in Northern Iraq who are always being overlooked by other mediatic news organizations.

  • shabak are not minority shabak are Kurds

they come from district mousul especially hazna

  • 'according to wikipedia' ???? At my university you get your degree revoked if you quote wikipedia ... it is not a reliable reference.

  • This lecturer has an annoying habit of citing Wikipedia's more sensational claims, and backpedaling in the next sentence. I hope he provided dates accessed for Wikipedia when he delivered this lecture.

  • WIth all this talk of different religions, it makes me wonder how we are ever to evolve as a human. So much crap, Religion is the biggest fall of man. It really needs to go. War after war proves this.
