ok; quick story. i was there. for my student council trip. i was 13. i was in mount olympus..there i am stuck on a water slide and i see a huge funnel cloud...we had to go down the stairs and hide in a TENT bathroom for at least 2 hours. the power went out..the tent was falling down..there was a fricken tornado! scariest day of my life! then we went on the jet boats after the tornado...there was another storm..a couple days later lake delton was gone. wow. biggest life experience so far.
and that my friend, is in fact the lake delton storm in which we say GOODBYE LAKE DELTON.. but a couple months later (now) we are about to say HELLO AGAIN lake delton =D
I was at work when Lake Delton drained. Man what a day. My sis and I drove over the bridge by where Tommy Bartlett's had their show. It's all gone. All you can see now is boats on their keel & stumps. Sad thing to see.
