  • Finally, we agree on something Kcarl: Vote according to your values. Go AAMU bulldogs...c/o 1991!!!

  • and I'll say it again...your website suggests that because Democrats voted against the civil rights bill, blacks should not be voting democrat. That statement is HALF TRUE!! Most of the minority group of democrats that voted against the civil rights bill actually switched to a conservative/republican platform after the bill passed. This is basic history 101 that EVERYONE knows. I know that you're trying to sell your book. But conservative "values" are actually everyday citizen values.

  • A person's political party affiliation is a personal choice. What I'm saying is this . . . vote your VALUES regardless of your party affiliation.

  • kcarl...come on man. Democrats and Republicans have changed their platforms many times throughout this country's history. A republican president freed the slaves. A democratic president...LBJ, actually introduced the civil rights bill. the ONLY democrats who voted against it were from from the southern "plantation states". It's near impossible to find a historically consistent motive for either party towards minorities. How can you embrace one and ridicule the other and be intelligent?

  • As for me, I don't want to be a part of any organization that enslaved my great, great grandfather. Slavery was not a Republican Party platform. Did you know that it was LBJ that watered-down the civil rights bill of 1957. How about the Voting Rights Act? Of the 18 who opposed the Voting Rights Act, 17 were Democrats. There's no perfect political party. My allegiance is to Christian principles and not a political party.

  • I really like those who can think and do on their own and are not be lead around by the biased media like sheep.

  • Let's do this, Friend... List for me all my "inaccuracies", backed by resources for intelligent debate. As I stated in response to one of your other posts, my arguments are footnoted. Would it please you if aditional resources are listed on our site? Drop me a few lines, give me a list of materials you suggest. If you read my book, you will find I have even studied the writings of Cornell West, Malcolm X and more. You will find our arguments are well researched and balanced.

  • But my main point is..this guy K. Carl is complaining about Democrats misleading minorites. And then he turns around and does the same thing. With a little research, any idiot should know the difference between "democrats" and and the hisorically comical "dixiecrats". Both parties do their share of manipulating and misleading uninformed, uneducated people. I don't know if the tea party is racists. But their message sounds eerily similar to that of the 60's dixiecrats.

  • Personal responsibility, moral values, small government, personal freedom. These are not values exlusive to republicans or conservatives. Most normal people feel the same way regardless of political affiliation. And by the way...Your own Frederick Douglass had the majority of his success during "Reconstruction"..a "Big Govt." project. By the time he died, the south had already begun taking back opportunity, land ownership, and voting rights from blacks. Go Reseach some history please!!!

  • INCREDIBLE. This organization talks about Blacks being tricked into voting Democrat. But then posts inaccurate historical messages on their website. Those democrats he's talking about that opposed integration and the civil rights bill were a very small minority from mostly southern states that either switched to a conservative/republican platform in the late 60's or they've just died off (see strom thurmond).

  • Are the media's sheep of America listening ?

    WAKE UP AMERICA?

  • Wonderful video, its a shame that as long as its been out it only received 412 views and 16 likes. We need to help this video get out there!

  • Great video! I was born into a family which had been Democratic for three previous generations. I left the party during the confirmation hearings for Justice Clarence Thomas, when I saw how hypocritical "my" Democrats were. I watched almost all the televised coverage and could not help but notice that the news reporters were lying about what had happened during the hearings. It was shameful. I felt that a party that was true and strong did not need to lie or have its friends in the media lie.

  • It's a bastardization of democracy to lobby for less gov. We need to heal our gov, not cripple it more. Why? B/c we ARE the gov. For the people, by the people. We need a strong, healthy gov that listens to the least fortunate and wrangles in the financial interests of rich corps.

  • @sopriska83 - If you really cared about helping the poor, you would be in favor of smaller government - because the bigger the government, the higher the government costs to run. The higher the government costs, the less money goes to help those who need it.The higher the taxes, the less people with money will donate to charities who help the poor. If government is smaller, it would tale less money to run, therefore having more to help the poor. If taxes were lower more money would be donated.

  • We cannot look back to the past, using it as straw man arguments to distract us from present reality. Votes need to be based on a party's CURRENT values. And the vision of the Rep party is that of roads, air, water owned by Good Ol' Boy corporations concerned with the bottom line only.

  • @sopriska83 You STILL don't get it, do you? Obama is trying to keep us ALL (black & white) enslaved to the govt.

  • Well done!
