@conoramoia You do realise the BG-E5 is made in china. Anyways, I have a 3rd party battery grip and it's great. Don't bother with a rip off canon grip who don't even supply 1 battery with it

yes,but i have both a canon and a third party grip,i'd definately go on the canon,pretty much everything is better about it but thats not to say that i wouldnt use a third party grip :)

I have Canon 18-55 IS and 55-250 IS. Haven't really tried those without IS so can't say about shake.

how much did you pay for your 55-250? only im thinking sell my 18-55 a buy the 18-200 as kit lense is not versitile enough! :) also what typr of camera bag are you using? thanks

I bought the camera and the lenses in a kit and it was 999€ last summer. Here in Finlad price for the 55-250mm is about 300€. As a bag i have Canon 200DG. Got it cheap from ebay.

It feels solid but the buttons doesn't feel as good as the ones in camera. I'm not saying those buttons are bad but could be little better. Overall I like it very much and I'd say go for it. Great value for you rmoney.
